“Loved this place. Cute little surprise in my neighborhood. Place was small but very charming. Staff was very accommodating, attentive and quick. Food looked and tasted amazing. Very flavorful. The icing on the cake was the music as they happened to play my type of alternative bands. This is definitely a 5 star spot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Ygeor was extremely attentive to us at the table. Came with my mom and grandma to catch up and the food was great and even though they were out of some stuff and had to do some swaps everything was great. Great lighting, pretty solid food and prices, would come again for sure.“

“We stopped by this café for a Saturday morning breakfast. The exterior was charming, which drew us in. Parking is street-only, so it can be tricky on busier days, but we lucked out.
I ordered a cortado—decent, nothing remarkable. I went with the avocado toast, which they’re apparently known for. It was as minimalist as it gets: a slice of ciabatta, olive oil, a generous amount of fresh avocado, salt, and pepper. No frills, but solid and satisfying. My friend had a multigrain croissant with sausage and egg—basic and hearty.
The café is mostly self-service, and while the vibe was relaxed, the service was quite slow. We even cleared our own table from the previous guests. It seemed a bit understaffed, but the food was fresh and filling. A cute local spot, though don’t expect speed or polish.“

“Matcha Cafe Maiko is my favorite spot for desserts! This spot is my go-to, especially when I'm craving matcha or hojicha flavors. The Maiko Special is always one of my favorites to order and share with a friend, but this month's specials were black sesame which I knew I had to try as well! I ordered the black sesame soft serve and my friend ordered the black sesame latte, and both were incredible! I'm a huge fan of black sesame flavored desserts, and these really hit the spot.
Also loved how the shop was decorated beautifully for Halloween! Amazing quality desserts, service, and vibes. I also appreciate how this location has a few benches outside, so when I visit with friends, we're able to sit together right outside the shop and enjoy our desserts. I've been here several times and will definitely will keep coming back!“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food. The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“Just came for a quick coffee break and ended up loving this place! Quiet, clean, spacious, and aesthetic cafe. Delicious bakery items (recommend the raisin pastry and chocolate croissant!) and coffee. Really lovely service! Plus, they display the train schedule on a TV so it's perfect for chilling while you wait for your train. And pastries are 50% off past 4pm :)“

“My opinion is 9.1/10. Def lived up to hype. I had the yuzu, has a lemon flavor and I did enjoy it. If back in the area would try other flavors I heard the boba is what they are know for. “You should come here because they have speciality coffee and drinks, and stay for the vibes and culture. Love the concepts like the "coquito latte" and the whole attention to detail from the paintings and murals on the wall to the stoned floor and the domino table that sits in the middle of it all.“

“Absolutely loved their pistachio soufflé—it was incredible! The cold brew was a bit too strong for our taste, but they had a wide variety of other beverages on the menu. While the drinks are a bit on the pricier side, that’s expected for NYC. Plenty of seating available with convenient table service too.“

“The food is absolutely fabulous. It is presented beautifully. We were going to go to the place next door, but due to the wait there, we ended up at Good Thanks. Such a delightful mistake. So much so that we came down again all the way from East Harlem to come back once more before the end of our trip. This is a must visit.“

“Great food with incredibly sweet staff!! The labneh zatar croffle was out of this world and the guy who took care of us really went the extra mile— asking about food allergies and recommending a nearby park to sit in. Even gave us a carrier for our free to-go waters. I don’t live in this neighborhood but I’ll definitely come back then next time I’m in the area! Stopping in legit made my day better ❤️“

“Amid the buzz of NoMad, Slate Cafe feels like a breath of calm. The interiors are thoughtfully designed neutral tones, subtle textures, and that perfect window light that makes your coffee moment feel a little more cinematic.
The baristas know their craft without the attitude, and each cup reflects that care especially the flat white, which somehow always lands just right. Their bites are seasonal and intentional, but it’s the vibe that lingers with you: easygoing, grown-up, and refreshingly distraction-free.
Slate isn’t trying to be everything. It’s just quietly, confidently good. And in a city that never stops, that stillness is rare and worth returning to.“

“Indian chai in Manhattan??
Yes 12 different customisable flavours. I had tried few tea varieties from vending machines in India. But those are pathetic.
This ChaiVio in USA, doesn't feel like it's from a vending machinr which has a vibrant touch screen and variety of flavours and customising options.
Excellent product.. And tea of course“

“I stopped by Tartinery Cafe for lunch with friends and got the Lunch Combo ($15.50+), which includes a choice of soup and petite sandwich.
I’d wanted the Chestnut and Mushroom Soup, but they only had Butternut Squash. For my sandwich, I chose the Smashed Avocado with Egg (additional $2.50+). I’d asked for it without cilantro, but they were putting it on as they were preparing it, so I had to ask them to remove it, again.
The soup was a bit bland, but the Smashed Avocado was good.
For $20, this wouldn’t be my first choice for lunch, but could be good if you’re looking for a small lunch.“

“It’s a great cafe, we took a call there and had amazing potato wedges. The smoothie (Bondi blue smoothie) was not that great.. but the sandwich was yummy. The service was great, they understood that we are vegetarian and helped us out with the order. Must go if you like potato wedge!“
“My 11-year-old absolutely loves cats, so when my husband and I were planning her first trip to New York City, we added Meow Parlour to our must-do list, and I’m so glad we did! The folks who work there were so warm and welcoming. They have clear and easy rules to follow when it comes to interacting with the cats, and they gave my child helpful tips on which cat likes certain times of play or pets. My kiddo loved the photo bios of each cat on the wall and identifying each cat by name. I highly recommend this fun and relaxing outing!“
