“What a gem. This cozy restaurant has everything I needed after a long day. The staff is friendly and polite. The space is comfortable - not too fancy and not too casual. Most importantly- the FOOD. The Salad Tropical was the most delicious salad I’ve had in my life - fresher than fresh with a unique and perfect blend of subtle flavors. I judge restaurants by their pork and the Lechon did not disappoint. Delicate flavorful seasoning complemented by tenderness. I will definitely remember this meal and recommend this place. Bonus that we arrived in time for their great happy hour. Enjoyed ropa veijas on tostones and Cuban sandwich egg rolls to start, followed by Bian Pao Salmon, Cuban Fried Rice, Ropa veijas noodles, and stir-fry cashew cauliflower. Topped it off with the best slice of tres leches we have ever had. Everyone loved all the items we ordered! Highly recommend!“

With constant changes on my end, the staff was always a phone call away, very courteous offering excellent advice to ensure the perfect feast. Oh and the food was amazing.“

“A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. We can visit the place multiple times and never get tired. #supportlocal“

We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“The food was extremely flavorful and delicious. If I am back in NJ I will come back for sure.
As a vegetarian I got served a meal that had meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully fault them. I'm sure if I had ordered on my own they would have said something.
