“Living with Celiac Disease, Graves' Disease, and post-Lyme has already made my diet extremely restrictive. This year, despite the added challenges, I made the difficult decision to return to vegetarianism - I simply couldn't reconcile the guilt of eating animal proteins while my health demanded an even more limited way of eating. Cooking at home is manageable, but ordering takeout has been tough: truly gluten-free and vegetarian options are rare. That's why I'm so grateful for Living on the Veg. Their food isn't just safe and accommodating - it's genuinely delicious. As someone who leans toward vegan eating and avoids most factory dairy when I can, I especially appreciate their plant-based options. The vegan potato salad is outstanding - you'd never guess it's dairy-free. And the chocolate peanut butter bites? Absolutely addictive. Thank you, Living on the Veg, for making restrictive eating feel like a treat instead of a compromise, on the days I'm too lazy to cook! P.S. My one wish: more gluten-free bread options, especially bagels and different types of sandwich bread beyond the classic white. That would make your amazing sandwiches even more irresistible!”

“Beth is hands-down one of the best servers I’ve ever had. From the moment she greeted our table, her energy, professionalism, and genuine personality stood out. She was attentive without ever being overbearing, and she anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask.
My order was perfect, the timing was smooth, and she checked in just enough to make sure everything stayed on point. On top of that, she was friendly, patient, and made the whole experience feel effortless.
Beth is truly an asset to the restaurant, and you can tell she takes pride in her work. I’ll absolutely be returning, and will be asking for Beth every time.

“Andis was my regular spot for years. New owners refreshed it, and tweaked the menu some. I was hesitant to try my usual, a pepperoni pie—crust still crispy, not to doughy just like I remember. The prices went up a tad, but happy it’s mostly the same. I wish them luck, I’ve always liked this little place.”

“The best coffee shop in the LBI area that roasts its own blends in store and has great pastries and speciality cold brew that rival the bigger chains. Their s’mores Cold brew is delicious and the Owner has done great outreach into the community by starting a run club. Check them out!”

“Ana Bananas made an incredible gluten free cake for my son's birthday. They were so kind and accommodating, advising that they couldn't guarantee no cross contamination but would take as many precautions as they could to reduce the chances. My son has celiac dz and is highly sensitive to gluten, and he had no problems at all! The cake was absolutely delicious, everyone raved about it. We're learning that holidays and celebrations are harder to plan when you can't have gluten -- thank you guys so much for making his birthday perfect.”

Service was extremely friendly, food was absolutely excellent (extra points for presentation!), and the vibe was warm and welcoming. My family had a great time, can't wait to come back!!”
