“I agree with the other review that you are wasting your time reading Cats Luck reviews when you could be eating there! The food was delicious! And not very expensive at all. I got the fried chick’n and scrambled tofu (loaded). Great flavor with plenty of food. Really hit the spot and seasoned perfectly. The service was incredible also! Great vibes with plenty of recommendations. Just great atmosphere overall. They were packed today so I ended up enjoying the food in my car, but nonetheless looking forward to sitting down and eating one day. I got desserts (chocolate peanut butter Bundt and apple cider donuts) for later also. Haven’t tried those yet but they look amazing too!! Updated from previous review on 2026-01-03“

“Yet another reason why 502 Bakery is my bakery of choice. Woke-up Saturday morning (4/12/2025) craving crumb coffee cake. Arrived at 502 Bakery a few minutes before 9AM, but when I approached the door the sign said, "Sorry We're Closed!" I did not realize they opened at 9:30AM. So I went back to my vehicle to wait 30-minutes until they officially opened. LOL... Wait?! Yes, the crumb cake is that good! Not more than 2-minutes later, I looked back from my vehicle to see the neon 'OPEN' sign on! Rather than having a customer wait they chose to open early. 502 Bakery's customer service matches the quality of their product. Thanks 502 team! See you again soon. Gerald S.“

“Love this place! It is truly a shop for bakers, including amateurs like myself! They have a big variety of cookie cutters, molds, baking tools, food coloring, etc. Came in recently and was pleasantly surprised at the variety of seasonal items, including Halloween cookie cutters and takeaway boxes, sprinkles, and cake decorations. Prices are very reasonable with most cookie cutters around $2-3 which can’t be beat! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the products.“

“I recently ordered macaroons for a business meeting. The service was excellent, the products were also excellent. I thought all varieties of the macaroons were delicious as did all attendees. “Sugar bakeshop provided the most beautiful baby shower cake for my daughters baby shower at Half moon point grill. Not only was it delicious, it was made with so much attention to the theme. Take a look at the photo, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Five stars, cake was fresh and moist and delicious. Great job, thank you. Update ; Sugar bake shop closed and new people took over the space. They did custom sugar cookies and baptism cake delivered to venue . The cookies were beautiful and cake delicious.“

“Simona’s Bakery is amazing. She made a beautiful and delicious cake for my daughter’s 30th birthday. Along with the cake we enjoyed 4 dozen of her awesome mini cupcakes. Everyone loved it all. So much so that I didn’t even get a cupcake.lol. Heading to New Jersey in a few weeks and I have every intention of picking up my own order of cupcakes. Thanks Simona and staff for helping to make my daughter’s party a success.“

“I ordered a cake for my 75th birthday - chocolate cake, chocolate mousse filling and chocolate whipped cream (more like a mocha). It was the best cake ever and everyone raved about it. With all the chocolate you would think it would be very sweet but it wasn’t. Very light and not at all sweet. I have also gotten cookies from there several and they were delicious. I highly recommend Red Rise Bakery!!.“

These bad reviews were from a year ago when they had different workers and yes, they were horrible.

“When I ordered a full sheet birthday cake (in person) the salesclerk was patient, professional and attentive to the details I requested. Great customer service! At pickup in Jan 2025, the large heavy cake was carried out to the car for me. It was beautifully decorated and exactly as expected. Again, great customer service! Best of all, at the party, many of our guests raved about the delicious cake. A fresh and moist chocolate cake filled with chocolate custard and iced with whipped cream. Excellent!“

“Stopped by Papa Ganache in Manasquan and didn’t realize it was a vegan bakery until we got there. I ordered the cake roll, s’mores bar, and an Americano. Everything was delicious! The flavors were really good, and even though the texture isn’t quite like a non-vegan baked good, the taste totally made up for it.“
