Arrived at 502 Bakery a few minutes before 9AM, but when I approached the door the sign said, "Sorry We're Closed!" I did not realize they opened at 9:30AM. So I went back to my vehicle to wait 30-minutes until they officially opened. LOL... Wait?! Yes, the crumb cake is that good! Not more than 2-minutes later, I looked back from my vehicle to see the neon 'OPEN' sign on! “We came across this bakery and decided to buy some chocolate chip cookies for the go. After taking a few bites, we immediately turned back and went back inside. In two days, we visited 5 times! We had plenty of cookies, Danish pastries, croissants, cinnamon raisin rolls, coffee, and an einkorn loaf. Everything we had has been the best we ever had! We have a picky palate, and Nick & sons surpassed our expectations and even blew us away. The bakers are easy to talk to, and it reminds us of old bakeries' service. The cinnamon raisin roll was outstanding. We never tried anything like it;* the fresh cardamon*, could eat 2 in a row without getting a sugar high or feeling uneasy. Even their coffee is perfect, the BEST of Spring Lake, and ideal for dipping pastries. Now I'm enjoying the 3-day-old Einkorn loaf at home, and it's just so perfect with butter and dipped in coffee. We look forward to revisiting Spring Lake to enjoy more goods at Nick Sons Bakery. Thank you for providing high-quality baked goods.
