“Mueller’s Bakery gave us the wedding cake of our dreams. For our beach-themed cake, we wanted something unique, with a sense of humor, but still a bit romantic. So we sent them reference photos of my and my husband’s real-life bathing suits, and on top of our delicious two-tier cake, our toppers were two beach chairs and our little bathing suits made of fondant. (The joke was that our topper bride and groom ditched the cake and ran off skinny dipping.) They even put little footprints in the cookie-crumble sand on the top of the cake. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with how it turned out, and how it tasted!“
“This is my second time eating a mini Bundt but first time gluten free. The pop up flavor was gf lemon raspberry and it didn't disappoint. It tasted just like a non gluten free Bundt cake and was moist and delicious. This flavor is a definite keeper. I bought my mom the chocolate chocolate chip mini Bundt and she said it was yummy. The Toms River location is in a strip mall with ample parking. The inside is sparkling clean and the staff are very nice and helpful.“

I ordered a layer of each vanilla and chocolate, buttercream frosting with funfetti mouse. I uploaded my inspo pic and the invite to my sister’s shower, and they beautifully executed the cake! They were extremely responsive and quickly provided a quote with the breakdown, and finalizing the order was as easy as calling the designer team and confirming! The staff from the venue and the balloon designers took pics and asked where the cake was from. The cake was delicious and the quality amazing! Will definitely order again!“

The service was extremely slow for cost of service (they did apologize several times for being short staffed, but we did make reservations so this could have been avoided). “Decent, but I've been to better ice cream parlors. When we went (Labor Day 2023), the line was long. The problem is when you get to the long counter with all the various flavors, you might have given your order before seeing all the flavors. It would be great if they had an electronic display that rotated through all flavors, perhaps with pictures and descriptions. That way you could have narrowed down your choice by the time you get to the counter. This in turn could help the line move faster. The service itself was good, the quality of the ice cream decent and the prices reasonable.“

It isn’t “ around the corner” so I don’t get there often but when I’m in the area I will go out of my way and stock up. I love the packaging, too. “I ordered from Kneaded by Lady J for the morning of my wedding when I saw them post about providing spreads and baked goods for bridal parties. I loved being able to use a local business and even more so loved that we could tailor the breakfast boards, have gluten free options, and there were lunch and snack options for when the guys were together in the afternoon. The breakfast spreads we received were not only beautifully presented but the food was fantastic. They were incredibly accommodating on delivery times and were wonderful to work with! “Stopped in for lunch and they had a good selection of choices to pick from. I got the griot with sweet plantain and rice and peas. My husband likes all his food moist with sauce so we got some gravy from the chicken in sauce and it was so good. Good amount of heat in the sauce and the meat was fresh and not tough. The rice was fluffy and light and the plantains were a perfect match to the meat.We also got 2 chicken patties and 2 beef patties and they were ok. The meat to pastry ratio is off so you end up eating more pastry than meat which is disappointing. The meat had great flavor but they should make it smaller so the meat stands out more. The dough was buttery and flaky and had a good bite.Overall, it was a good experience. The customer service was a bit dry but polite.I would definitely go back to try more things and would recommend this spot for authentic Haitian food.“

They let her try a few samples and decide which she wanted and when it came to the toppings they held up a few spoonfuls so she could confirm which ones she wanted. My first time in there, I didn’t know what to get and explained to the gentleman behind the counter, Matt , that I like nutty, sweet and caramel latte type of drinks. This place is not only big and clean but everything I bought pastries everything was good ? you really can’t find a real bakery anymore and an Italian deli those days are long gone people let’s say they like the delis in toms River don’t know what a good Italian deli is what is Elise‘s bakery is good not the best I’ve ever been to which will never happen again, but it’s good and I will definitely go back there“

With all the chocolate you would think it would be very sweet but it wasn’t. Very light and not at all sweet. I have also gotten cookies from there several and they were delicious. The everything bagel, however, was still delicious! The service was quick even with multiple people always entering. The shop has seating, was clean, and scratched that hometown bagel store itch. “Small town gem! Called to order a lemon meringue pie for dad's birthday, we didn't see on the regular menu but Jay was happy to make it for us. When we picked it up you could tell the pie was just "scratch made," it looked rustic and refined. The flavors were so fresh and vibrant our guests were blown away. Thanks to Sunburst we are now a "Pie on your Birthday" family. Peruvian chicken empanadas were awesome too, crust is so flakey and nice authentic touch with the raisins. Can't wait to try more stuff!“
