“I ordered a rainbow sprinkled covered cake for my daughter’s 7th birthday. My oldest picked it up for me and when I opened the box I saw that it was not the cake I ordered. It was 4:03 pm and the party started at 5. I called the bakery and all their decorators were gone for the day but I was given the owners name and number and told to call her which I did. Misty went above and beyond to make things right and drove out to her Aston store where her decorators were still working and had another cake made for me, then delivered it herself to my front door (located in south Jersey) at 5:30. I could not be more impressed with her work ethic and her commitment to her customers. The cake was phenomenal and everyone at the party raved about it! I truly appreciate the way the situation was handled and will be a lifelong customer as a result!“

“My first visit to Hens and Honey Shoppe was to grab a coffee and a sandwich to-go. The cafe was busy and I noticed that everyone seemed to be focused on those at their table; relaxed and enjoying the welcoming vibe. Staff were super friendly and attentive. I have been looking for a good chicken salad since my mom stopped packing my lunches many years ago. :-) The fresh croissant was LOADED with delicious chicken salad that took me back. The side salad was lovely; covered in fresh fruit. Food like this, made with their hearts, will make you swear off eating on the go and multi-tasking at lunch. When you visit, you will want to gather a fork, friends and/or your thoughts, sit down and enjoy.“

“What a gem right in the heart of Glassboro! The coffee here is so good, roasted on-site and always hits the spot. (The Mexican or Guatemala roast is my favorite) The staff is super friendly, and the whole place just has this warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. Any time I’m driving through town, I make it a point to stop in for a hot drip (in the biggest mug I can get), a breakfast sandwich on one of their amazing croissants, and let’s be honest, I almost always sneak out with a pastry for later. I probably would’ve been so flustered in their position, but nope the entire crew was hustling, AND with smiles on their faces, AND with a new employee in training on register. “Rude and ignorant staff to a Veteran on Memorial Day. Not sure if it was one of the owners. People working the counter have no hospitality experience what so ever and are clueless. They get offended quickly when you ask a question about their watered down product. And I quote the red head bearded guy behind the counter wanting to know what was poured into the coffee "I didnt poison you if that what your asking" when I questioned the container of liquid being poured into my coffee of what it was located in the mini fridge with a red top after I ordered a decaf cold brew and I saw him pour maybe 2oz. of I assume decaf coffee into the cup, the rest 3/4 of ice and cream. big rip off for $3.50. would. it recommended or ever go back. Took 2 sips and through it out. Learn how to treat your customers and don't employ your buddies friends or family members or local kids who have no hospitality experience because they have no clue what it means to actually work or serve the public.“
