“Best latte I’ve had in West Philly!
Didn’t try the pastries, but they look awesome.
Busy, but quick service.
Crowded, but with students, quietly typing away, many happy to share their table.
Love this place.“

“It’s places like this that make me love Philly! This quaint, locally-owned coffee shop is hands down one of the best I’ve been to.
I tried their seasonal German Toffee Latte, and it did not disappoint! The chocolate-chip cookie, topped with sea salt, and the chocolate croissant were both incredible—perfectly balanced sweetness.
I’ll definitely be back and highly, highly recommend!“

“I ordered the sweet potato latte and it was great! The flavor was really good, not too sweet, and the espresso was amazing quality. The inside of the cafe is sooo adorable, but extremely tight and cramped. It’s definitely not the kind of cafe to sit and relax at, but still great nonetheless!!“

“Went for a quick breakfast before heading to the airport. Great experience. Very kind staff, good atmosphere. Bacon egg and cheese was perfectly crafted. Chocolate croissant was phenomenal. Best cortado I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend.“

“Fantastic local non-chain/corporate coffee joint. Fresh pastries, coffee & tea drinks, small banquette inside, shady tables and chairs on sidewalk under trees. Think casual morning meetups, kids in strollers, dogs relaxing under chairs. Friendly AF staff.“

“Lovely lovely neighborhood cafe with yummy options otherwise scarce nearby. Favorites so far have been the pandan waffle, taro boba, the banh mi combo, but this place is always on my mind to try much more of the menu! The boba drink sizes are also much more generous for the price compared to others.“

“Jiggy was the first coffee shop I stopped in Philadelphia as it was in the neighborhood I stayed in. It's safe to say I didn't have to go elsewhere. Their seasonal rose flavored matcha is a must try. I would argue that their latte is unmatched. It's clear that they are using high quality coffee beans. Super flavor and strong coffee!“

“I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

“Stumbled upon this place while looking for a coffee shop to work in that was open on LDW. I am SO glad I found this spot! It had the perfect vibes for relaxing or focusing and getting some work done. The drink options are creative and plentiful. I also got the burratina sandwich and it was fabulous. And it was huge! I saved the other half for later.
I found the prices to be very reasonable, especially for the large portion of food. And I love that it appears they import a lot of their stuff from Italy.
I will definitely be back to this gem!“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“Food is great and prices are super reasonable. Staff is very friendly but they are definitely overworked having to do so much in such a small space with few people. Outside seating actually felt pretty nice, and I was glad I was able to take my dog.“

“It took me a while to find my go to tacos here. I tried a few of their rotating ones. However, the last time I visited, I tried the steak fajita tacos and now I'm obsessed. Their happy hour is great! $5 margs? You can't beat that. I also love their bbq wings and their guac.“

“I ordered some treats for my mom it was a miscommunication with delivery service so she didn’t receive it, but holy cannoli contacted me and cleared everything up and offered to send my mom treats on them which I thought was really thoughtful. Great customer service thank you so much. I appreciate your attention and kindness! Thank you, Khristine“

“Absolutely recommended! I’m a London tourist visiting Philadelphia, and I was immediately drawn to this little coffee shop. The staff were super friendly, and the coffee was delicious! A special thank you to one of the customers (with a lovely dog) who kindly offered to pay for my coffee when I only had a card and no cash. That gesture really warmed my heart—thank you! ☺️☺️“

“Had the Spring Fling coffee today, IT WAS INCREDIBLE! Never have I had coffee like this. It was robust but mild, with hints of lavender, thyme and pink peppercorns. Absolutely a must have for those that go regularly. I live in NJ so sadly I won’t be here often and I’m sad about that.“

“My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit and have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Hens & Honey Shoppe for Swedesboro, our 136th town.
We had seen this place pop up on our social media feeds, and couldn't wait to try it when we came to town. (Check out their Instagram for great coffee pics and the funny Reels the crew makes.) Valerie & the H&H team exceeded expectations! First off, the shop itself is a work of art with lots of insta-photo-friendly decor.
The iced coffee flight is a must. It's what we came for. We got to try the Fall Special line up (Jack O, Pecan Lane, Flannel Jacket, and Harvest Moon).
It's not just a coffee shop though. The gourmet toasts they offer make for some of the most unique & delicious breakfast or brunch options I've seen. We tried the Smoked Salmon and Bourbon Sweet Honey toasts. WOW! Each of these were a party in our mouths. If we lived close enough, we'd come back more often to try all the toasts out!
The place gets busy, so you might have a wait, but it's WELL worth it.
Disclaimer: I'm writing this review almost a year after we first visited, and the shop has expanded to a larger space in the same plaza that looks just as cool. Can't wait to swing by again between visits to other towns our next time in Gloucester county! (As of Oct 2024, 243 Jersey towns visited, 321 to go!)“

“Eli and the other staff members were friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu items and coffee selection! Excellent service, inviting atmosphere. I just don’t understand why they are still required to wear masks! It’s a safety issue for them! Even the CDC does not recommend them any longer! It should be a personal choice! Highly recommend menagerie otherwise!“

“This place is spectacular. We’ve never had Ethiopian food and came to try it this afternoon. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the food was amazing. We got the doro tibs and veggie combo to try a few different things. My favorite was the doro tibs, misir, and beets. As someone with a gluten sensitivity, the gluten free injera option was incredible. I also got a soda. The total was less than $50 for two people. A wonderful place and I will definitely be back. Next time I’m looking to try their Ethiopian iced coffee!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free injera !!“

“Tons of coffee options and different flavors that you can mix & match, breakfast sandwiches are made to order. The sandwiches are a bit on the pricier side but usually big enough that I split them into 2 meals. If you go on a weekend or holiday I suggest ordering ahead on their website, I was quoted 25-30 min when I ordered at the counter on a Sunday.“

“Excellent coffee and small but awesome selection of pastries. Unique, funky, cool vibe with a great selection of jazz music playing and LPs on sale up front. It's dark inside, dimly lit. After 4pm they have a cool happy hour and sell wine in the evenings, and have a live music room in the back.
Great coffee, snacks, vibes, friendly service.“
