My favorite barista is definitely sophie she really goes above and beyond for the customers and is always pleasant. You can just tell that she actually cares about her job and the customers that come in. that girl definetly deserves a raise!!!“

“Yet another hidden gem in Philly. I came in for the first time today by chance and immediately felt so so so welcomed into the space. It is much smaller of a space than Madis Coffee Roasters (Twisted Grounds has only a few small tables to sit), but the staff is equally as kind, friendly, talkative, and enjoyable to be around. You can quickly tell that the team here has a great rapport with each other, and it makes the atmosphere comfortable and fun to be in. They have super cute merch and engaging conversations. I'm excited for this to be one of my regular haunts in Philly. The manager runs this place like a well-oiled machine.“

It’s a small space with minimal seating so keep that in mind if you intend to hang out. Great location if you’re visiting Center City. Very walkable. There’s some street parking around.

The service is great. I really enjoyed chatting with the barista learning about the business and ways they intend to continue growing as a brand. I appreciate that they locally roast their beans and that they experiment with new flavors to create drink specials they offer.

The 4.6★ rating on Google Maps and high praise on Yelp exist precisely because this owner operates with the highest integrity. The food is genuine, the pricing is standard for Philadelphia, and the owner’s reputation remains beyond reproach.“

“I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

I really looooveee this Lychee Dragon Fruit Green Tea still a favorite of mine. It feels like summer-whenever I drink them.

Peach Lemongrass idk if both flavors meld in together. I feel the lemongrass overpowered the peach flvor profile. Better yet pls make a Pandan Iced tea instead.

Pls make sure to really close the lid very tightly s some of the juices spilled in the plastic bag. Thanks“

“Tiny cafe with two very hard working staff. It was a bit of a wait for my coffee and avocado toast but well worth it. The avocado toast was truly beautiful with the caprese garnishes but would have crossed the line into exceptional with some finishing salt. Dining in is limited to a narrow bar and two small outdoor tables but it is a short walk to Rittenhouse square.“

“Random lil spot kinda feels like you're in a hotel café but it's not bad. Pretty small, i got lucky as someone gave me their spot but there are only 8 ish tables? it was nice though. was here to do work and they had wifi and it was quiet. wish i knew the name of the barista cause she was so kind. Accidentally spilled my drink everywhere like a lil kid but she was really sweet about it, cleaned it up quickly and gave me a new drink. she was funny too. got just a cappuccino and a beignet and they were both good nothin crazy. relatively affordable.“
