“I took my son here today for a Mario Happy Meal. On the way in his head was bumped on the door handle. A very kind man, who was likely the manager brought him some ice in a bag without us even asking and checked on us later on as well. He also brought our food to the table. Our order was correct and we had a great lunch dining inside. With customer service almost non existent these days, this man is a gem of an employee. While I didn't catch his name he had glasses and a cross tattoo on his forearm.“

“My first visit to Hens and Honey Shoppe was to grab a coffee and a sandwich to-go. The cafe was busy and I noticed that everyone seemed to be focused on those at their table; relaxed and enjoying the welcoming vibe. Staff were super friendly and attentive. I have been looking for a good chicken salad since my mom stopped packing my lunches many years ago. :-) The fresh croissant was LOADED with delicious chicken salad that took me back. The side salad was lovely; covered in fresh fruit. Food like this, made with their hearts, will make you swear off eating on the go and multi-tasking at lunch. “Stopped by Lu & Aug’s in Ardmore, PA, and this place is a sweet little gem! I tried the Wild Mint Chocolate and Toffee Pecan, and both were smooth, creamy, and full of flavor.

The Wild Mint Chocolate had that cool, refreshing mint taste with a rich chocolate kick. It was not boring or basic at all — it tasted fresh, sweet, and perfect for a warm day.

The Toffee Pecan was my favorite for that dessert-style flavor. It had a buttery, nutty taste with little crunchy pieces that made every sip better. Sweet, creamy, and packed with texture.

The presentation was simple but clean, and the drinks looked just as good as they tasted. Lu & Aug’s is definitely a spot worth checking out if you are in Ardmore and want something cold, sweet, and satisfying.

Foodie verdict: Creamy, flavorful, and worth the stop. I would definitely come back for more.
