“Walked in for breakfast me and my girlfriend and it was packed we finally got to order and my girlfriend left a few dollars as a tip next thing you know we received our food before almost everyone in there so ya that was a plus idk if the tip had a part in it or what. Food was delicious and iced coffees were spot on.“

“I always get my Mother inlaw sweet tea from there, I'm a local just live around the corner this is my local store everytime. Is always a bit busy they are low on staff id love to help if a position is available. But other than that they are still a great staff they are friendly and accurate everytime. “The service was phenomenal. The food, delicious. Best italian restaurant in Philly, the closest thing I've seen so far to an authentic italian restaurant in Philly (I stayed in Italy for 6 weeks). We got the tiramisu and gelato, and we got the carbonara and pappardelle al ragù. All of it was just so good. I wanna come back again, but I need to save up for it because it was very pricey. But worth it.“

“This is one of my favorite places to get work done near Penn/Drexel’s campus. The atmosphere is great, with a mix of sunlight and greenery as well as areas that are more removed for a less distracting environment. Would definitely reccomend the food, as well. Especially an egg white and cheese croissant!“

I am amending my review in light of their response because it shows that they do care for patrons and our concerns. i will not contact further because i did not post the review for some freebies but for the principle of appropriate response to customer concerns.I recommend ANY of their cupcakes because they are always on point. their cookies are big and beautifully delicious. cinnamon roll is good. iced coffee hits the spot!i’ve had the hangover sandwich, the mccrumb, waffle hash and breakfast burrito and i just find it really awesome that they feature other vegan restaurants food. that’s innovative and great for trying different options with each bakery purchase.if you love cannolis get the large otherwise the mini will do the trick!chocolate and confetti cake are a GREAT gift for any last minute parties!parking sucks but there’s nothing the business can do about it. i would do dine in more often if there was easier parking in the area because the decor is very fun. they take apple pay.Snippet of my original review:i buy here very often. i buy cakes for birthdays, uber eats for delivery and do pick up.for the first time, i had an issue and i told an employee and their response was indifferent. “I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

“Just moved into the neighborhood & decided to take a walk. I saw this tucked inside a little shopping center & now I regret it. Should have stuck with Dunkin Donuts bc after eating an everything bagel w/cream cheese from there, I’m addicted. “For my wife's and my wedding anniversary dinner, we ordered around 100 individual cakes from A La Mousse for our guests. We ordered mango mousses, papa bear cakes, and tiramisus.We all loved them!! We received so many positive reviews for the cakes, especially the mango mousse. The cakes were the perfect size also, presented beautifully, and all in all we thought added a really special touch to our celebration.Lynn and her staff at the South Street location are super friendly, helpful and were great to work with in the preparation for this event. This is definitely our go-to cake place in town!“

“A great place. Been open many years. Recently on TV for their Anniversary. Sometimes crowded but they are quick and move fast. You can get breakfast sandwiches all day which is a plus. “I've tried Top Hat Coffee Lounge by the UPenn campus, but I'm glad I discovered this new location! It's definitely hidden within a plaza and is situated within the walkway as you exit Saks Fifth Avenue. While the space is small, there is still plenty to order in terms of drinks and several pastries as well. The staff greeted us with a very warm welcome and was patient while we decided on our drinks. My friend and I both ordered oat matcha lattes, which were delicious and tasted like high-quality matcha as we were told :) The added perk is that he did not charge us for substituting our milk with oat milk, so thank you for that!“

“Super cute place! Our Host was very welcoming and I'm sure if we had asked questions they would have been more than willing to answer any. The cats are all adorable and I can only hope they all become adopted. This was part of my child's 16th birthday gift and they told me afterwards that they had a blast. “Quaint full-service restaurant with Ethiopian food. About half the food is Ethiopian, and the other half is (American) sandwiches and soup. I got the sega alecha (beef stew). Came with injera bread (a sour, spongy flat bread made from teff). Definitely different from the usual fare.“

(They graciously fixed it though) - One time they gave me an oat milk latte instead of a whole milk latte. (Again they fixed it. ) -During yet another visit I waited 10 minutes for a latte...not because they forgot or were busy but because the orders in front of me had to be redone because they were wrong. It's a great place and I hope the owner reads this review to improve the training of the employees.“

The staff were very friendly and fun, and even though there were several guests before me, I didn’t have to wait long. They have plenty of outdoor seating and a few tables inside. I got a spiced coffee with oat milk which was really tasty, and a vegan Philly muffin breakfast sandwich with hummus. I was very satisfied with the amount of food I received and the flavors. The everything Philly muffin is the way to go! I decided to grab a vegan scone on the way out which made for a delicious fika in a nearby park later.
