“Small little corner store on lower level of short hills mall. Can’t help but see the 20+ flavors available of chocolates. Plus fresh made gelato must of been about 15 flavors. I got the mango & strawberry in a cup. Lined with chocolate and nuts. Was awesome. Got to sample the milk chocolate as well. VERY GOOD…..“

“I stopped by Venchi Chocolate Place and had an amazing experience. I want to give a special shoutout to Gina — she was super helpful, super sweet, and incredibly patient. I didn’t know what to choose, and she guided me through everything with such a friendly attitude.

She recommended a few chocolates, including the pistachio one, and wow… I absolutely loved it.
The chocolates here are top-quality, but Gina’s service made the visit even better.

“The first time I tried them was at the Rockefeller center which I saw it on TikTok and wanted to see if it was worth the hype. I got the s’mores hot chocolate back in December 2024 and omg the best hot chocolate ever don’t go to any of the hot chocolate spots except this one because this was truly worth the hype. Now I went to go to their actual store (Sep 2025) they had a S’mores frozen hot chocolate which I got that, the customer service was amazing! The guy & girl were really nice. Now on to my drink which was the first time I had frozen hot chocolate and it was amazing!! “The gelato is very good. I cannot recommend the hot chocolate - it's flavorless and doesn't taste like chocolate at all. (I got the signature dark hot chocolate). The biscuit and macaroon that came with the hot chocolate were both good.“

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“I’ve been to Van Leeuwen a few times during my stay in New York, and I keep going back—it’s that good! The ice cream is rich, creamy, and full of flavor. My favorites are the honeycomb and coffee—both perfectly balanced and not overly sweet.
What really sets it apart is the homemade waffle cone. It’s warm, crisp, and buttery, adding the perfect texture and aroma to every scoop. You can tell they care about quality and craft.
Whether you're a local or just visiting, Van Leeuwen is a must-try. It’s comfort in a cone but not three scopes at once. Probably should get the cone in a bowl. 🤣“

“Thanks for the yelp elite invite. In little part of town is a hidden gem. Must have past it numerous times. What a great experience! It was my first visit at New Territories, a Hong Kong inspired ice cream and dessert shop. When I walked in, I was greeted by nuz one of the workers there. Warm welcome & big smile.She was super informative about the menu and so much fun to talk to. Then I met the owner , Pete. Explained to me to story of the store pretty amazing. They are famous for their bubble waffles. Was hot and fresh with along with vanilla ice cream & sprinkles. I had the double lemon float with lemonade and lemon sherbet as well. Store was very clean. There was about 15 flavors of ice cream to choose from. Definitely will be going back. “Recently visited the city for a long weekend and stayed at the hotel next door. The gelato here was excellent. Loved being able to order on the tablets, which let us take time making choices (family of 5) and no worries about any orders being misunderstood. Service was quick and the cones both looked and tasted excellent!“

“If I could give 10 stars I would. Everything we have had has been an A+ The UBE ice cream is my family’s favorite. My 4 year old has been obsessed with it since she was 2. It’s a great family experience and the owner Chona couldn’t be a nicer person. She goes above and beyond for me every time I go in there. I wish every owner had the same energy, respect, and friendliness that Chona has. All the workers are extremely helpful and friendly as well. “Wow! I have never had a better ice cream experience. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly by Linda. Linda went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect gelato experience. At other gelato/ice cream spots, trying different flavors is usually met with annoyance by the employees, but Linda was happy to recommend flavors to us and let us try them to make sure we made the right choice. I love that Amorino lets you put as many flavors as you want in your chosen size. I was absolutely amazed by the richness of the flavors and textures of the gelato. And the service from Linda and Blu truly made it an EXPERIENCE. Will be back!!! I also love the seating area in the back.“

“A great spot for gelato, especially in the summer! The flavors we tried were all enjoyable — the pistachio was a bit on the sweeter side, while the coconut was light, creamy, and just perfect. The cookies and cream was also really good.

The quality of the gelato is definitely there, but the portion size is a bit small for the price, which might make some people think twice. Still, if you’re looking to treat yourself to some high-quality gelato, this place is worth a stop.“

“We stopped off at NoiDue Gelato, and wow… every flavor was a hit. We basically did a full tasting session (for the sake of research, of course).

The Stracciatella was smooth with those perfect little chocolate bits.

Lotus Crunch was like cookie butter dreams come true.

Pistachio had that deep, real flavor, not the fake green stuff.

Madagascar Vanilla was so rich and creamy, it deserves its own fan club.

But two flavors totally stole the show:
The Halva Nagila… insane. Creamy, nutty, just the right sweet sesame vibe.
And the Crème Brûlée, seriously wow. It tasted like dessert at a 5-star restaurant… only colder and better.

And here’s the best part: it just happens to be kosher, Cholov Yisrael, and Pas Yisrael. So yes, you can enjoy every spoonful guilt-free and maybe even come back tomorrow.

The place does get a bit packed but the staff do a great job of crowd control. Oscar was amazing and handed my order and ask if I needed a bag which is great customer service.
