“Wow! After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

“I visited this bar for a work event after a rally. I had a ball. My drinks were great. The food was good and the atmosphere was very lively. Music made everything better. I will definitely come back on my own. I wish I asked the bartenders name. Her drinks were so damn good and strong. My type of service.“

“Came in before a funeral because we were early and needed somewhere to sit for a bit, and ended up finding one of those places that completely changes the tone of your day in the best way possible. Danny took incredible care of us from the moment we walked in- service was genuinely warm, the vibe was perfect, and it somehow became a bright spot on a really heavy day.
We loved it so much that we came back after the service for food and drinks, and it was even better the second time around. At one point, Danny even convinced the famous Target Santa to come by and meet us, which gave our group the exact comedic relief we needed.
Excellent hospitality, great energy, and a team that clearly knows how to make people feel welcome. 5 stars without question.

“My first time to a professional baseball game and only second time to New York! I'm glad it was Game 1 of the ALDS. We flew in Saturday morning from Wilmington, NC and back out Sunday evening! Not only was the energy out of this world, but Lisa, had more control of the bar patrons in both fairness and communication in her delivery of adult beverages! Thanks for a memorable experience and I hope to revisit in the near future! (invitations are gladly accepted - 🤣🤣🤣)“

“Mellers is great! My friends and I came here for multiple football playoff games and other sporting events. Everyone is very nice especially the owner who is there and greeting and checking in on folks. Great neighborhood spot with good beer and food. We are back often!“

“I celebrated my birthday there and I had a great freaking time! The staff was attentive. The prefix menu was chefs kiss!!! The margaritas did what needed to be done. I loved the shrimp tacos, the avocado and tostones and the calamari! The DJ made sure I had an amazing time. The hookah was sooo good and only 25$“

“Ayg 25th drove up from CT to this spot because we heard their wings were excellent and we love good wings. As a foodie and blogger we will travel for good wings and great service...sadly the wings was a total let down.😕. our waitress bless her heart recommended our picks and she stated they didn't look up to par after I asked why the lemon pepper I ordered was wet and it says dry rub. literally tasted like fried dirt with lemon juice squeezed over it. my other flavor garlic teriyaki was flavorful but salty. our picks were also underwhelming. I asked if the manager could take off 10.00 as 20 wings was 30. n change and I couldn't even stomach those wings. he told the waitress no flat out, didn't offer to even remake or select another flavor.. when I asked her if I could speak with him directly bc maybe she didn't convey my disappointment well...she said he'll come over. waited 25 minutes...I watched him do everything he could like fake clean the bar fake busy start fake conversations to never come over to our table. when we just decided to leave...he had the audacity to say have a good day adding insult to injury. you would think if a combined tab is near 200.00 you would be more accommodating and hospitable. this was by far the worst city restaurant experience. no way this mediocre establishment is 5.0 stars. I will be going on every review platform to share my horrible experience and share among my fellow bloggers to avoid this establishment at all costs. Never again!“

“Nice little Bar/Restaurant within walking distance from the Museum of Natural History. Outdoor seated is covered to keep diners out of the sun or rain. Tables are very small, not ideal for big parties or for families with strollers.
Drinks (The Dude) were very well made (strong!) and Downeast Cider on tap was an added bonus.
Bathrooms are small but clean and sufficient.
Double Smash burger was smaller than expected but it was very tasty as were the fries that came with it. Hot honey chicken sandwich was delicious (bigger than the burger) and the truffle fries were very flavorful.“

“this place was an absolute 5/5!!! the atmosphere had such a social and intimate aesthetic witch was perfect for our dinner!! i ordered the “pan seared wild salmon” and it was delicious! our server was keith and he was very helpful and efficient! we will definitely be back. we had such a great time!!! “From the moment we walked in, the vibe was EVERYTHING. The music, the lighting, the energy — it felt exclusive but still welcoming. The DJ knew exactly how to read the room and kept the crowd engaged all night.
The food and drinks were top tier. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The cocktails were strong but smooth — you can tell they don’t cut corners.
But what really made the experience stand out was the staff. Every single person was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. The host greeted us with a smile, the servers were on point without being overbearing, and security was respectful but still maintained order. You felt taken care of the entire night.
Definitely a spot I would come back to and recommend for birthdays, girls’ night, or just a good time. 10/10 experience.“

“We haven’t been to 1 Republik in a very long time due to different ownership and their quality of service. We decided one night to just give it another try. Under the new ownership of the place is totally different vibe is great! The food is fantastic. The service was wonderful. They also did a great job with ambience. We were starved by our bartender Sean who was knowledgeable and personable. Xavien, the bar back was so welcoming with his with smile and attentiveness. The drinks were on point. The tacks were delicious. We had such a good time; we decided to come back the next day. We met Alyssa the bartender who remembered our favorite drinks and Juan, the manager. Under his lead this place is heading in the right direction now. Can’t wait to see what’s ahead!! See me here!“

“Stopped by for the 2nd time after enjoying my first time stopping in for a quick bite. Nice vibe, the bartender was a doll. Second time wasn’t so great at first, felt uncomfortable with this bartenders energy and wanted to just pay for my drink and leave. On a whim decided to mention it to the manager and he was an absolute angel (hence his name lol). Really seemed sincere in addressing my concerns and I left feeling much better. Will definitely be back, it’s a dope spot with a nice selection of food and drinks.“

“I have been going to Sonoma almost weekly for over a year now. It started off with taco Thursdays and their delicious margarita specials and has now turned into exploring every menu item possible. I am consistently impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Incredibly delicious every single time. I am gluten intolerant which can pose challenges. The kitchen and staff have been amazing In accommodating my food allergy. I highly recommend Sonoma on any day of the week. It very quickly became my favorite go-to restaurants.“

“City coffee is my second home in UWS. Everybody is so warm and friendly, especially Bryan who always remembers my order and the food is just amazing. I always get the Nutella French Toast and a Chicken Club Sandwich. Nobody does it better than them. Thank you City Coffee you are the best!“

“Vaga Alta Sports Bar near Yankee Stadium is a solid spot to hang out before or after a game. I stopped by and grabbed a Stella—served in a clean, cold glass, which I appreciated. The prices are decent, though I didn’t explore much beyond the beer. The menu’s got a ton of options if you’re hungry. The bartendress was gorgeous and super friendly, which made the vibe even better. With at least a dozen TVs showing different sports, it’s a great place to catch some action. Four stars—definitely a nice holdover spot!“

“The bartenders are such sweetums, they try their best to get you the perfect drink and experience, haven’t tried their food though. They welcome new cultures and are open to your energy, be courteous and respectful and they adore you till you leave! Mostly regular crowd in the bar but I would definitely pay them a visit if in the area, humble and respectful, loved the experience!“
