“We love Jimmy Tomato's. My husband and I are vegan and they will make all the Indian vegetarian pies vegan. The veggies are exceptionally good crisp and perfect. I can't stand what veggies past their prime. I will not eat and never go back. The freshness of the veggies is top notch. Be forewarned the Indian pies are very spicy! Kids love their traditional pies. I have had them as well and they are good Roman pizza pies.“

Rumors have it in the pizza world, is you ever wanna try a places best pizza always order a personal pie, that will tell you how they really are. So I ordered a personal Mushroom, Plain and a specialty one. Let me tell you this, IF you like a good crunch pizza..... On every bite.... Good flavor that stands tall..... This is the place to go.... ABSOLUTELY, so far, one of the best around.... This hole in a wall will surprise the s#$& out of you. Next time I will go for a full size pie and tell you how that goes....It will be interesting... I have been in places where I love there personal size and didn't like there full size....and let me add..... It was so good that I ate the personal Mushroom before I got home and I love down the road in Morristown... That's how good this wasI AM TELLING YOU if you like a crunch to your pizza, and you eat the whole slice.... This places personal pie is just for you....The two guys behind the counter was extremely nice... One had to be the owner, a bigger guy great personality and knew his stuff.... “We have been coming to Sals for long long time. The food especially the Cheese Steak sandwich and fries are the best. When it’s cold outside Sal makes a pasta fagioli that’s out of this world. Don’t forget the zepoles. Thanks Sal and son, for making Sal’s Pizzaria a great place to sit down and eat a slice of pizza and enjoy a glass of wine to go with it. 👍“

“Holy moly……. The food here is phenomenal, ambience is perfect, service is 💯. The gentleman at the front counter making the food and serving is passionate and a true artist with food. I added a picture, wanted to share it before I bit into it, but the aroma, taste, and texture was 🔥!! I had the cheesesteak pizza- of all the speciality slices I’ve had in many years- this was the best one.

I drove 30 minutes back here because it’s the best!! Support local!

“At Luigi’s they do it right. I don’t know if it is because they sell pizza by the slice but their crust is one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Even after a long ride in the car the crust had a crunchy outside texture with a perfect balance of chewy dough. The sauce had the perfect flavor and a balanced acidity with sweetness. Although I have not tried them, people who have had the sausage roles and the Stromboli swear by it. They are unfortunately 30+ miles from where we live but if we are in the neighborhood we definitely make a point of stopping by.“

“Natales is located in a small mall. Pizza is made in the front and has booth and table seating, as does the restuarant in back. The entrees are always flavorful and plentiful. I have never been able to finish any entree that I ordered. The entree is accompanied by home made rolls that are fantastic, and either soup or salad. The soup is served in a bowl, not at cup, and can be quite filling. Every soup I sampled was delicious. They make both hot and cold sandwiches! The "Small" sandwich is sizeable. They make thin crust pizza, which is excellent, but you can request a regular, thicker crust if you prefer. The service is always good and everyone is pleasant and helpful. This is our favorite Italian restaurant.“

“A Hidden Gem in Wharton That Keeps Getting Better!

This evening we had a truly wonderful dinner at Reno’s Pizzeria and Restaurant in Wharton, NJ. From start to finish, everything about our visit was top-notch. Our server, Shirley, was incredibly attentive—friendly, prompt, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. What really stood out, though, was that Reno himself came by to check in and ensure we were enjoying our evening. It’s not every day you see that level of care and pride from an owner, and it absolutely elevated the experience.

We started with two fantastic appetizers—the eggplant rollatini and little neck clams in marinara sauce. Both were delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. For entrees, we chose the mahi mahi in mango sauce special and the shrimp scampi over linguini. Each dish was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Compliments to the chef—truly excellent work in the kitchen!

We ended our meal on a sweet note with the mini cannolis, which were perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor.

Although Reno’s (formerly Maria’s) has been a staple in town for some time, their recent expansion into a charming sit-down dining area has added so much to the local dining scene. It’s cozy, welcoming, and a perfect spot for a relaxed and satisfying dinner. Reno’s is a real asset to Wharton, and we’ll definitely be back! (PS It's BYOB!)“

“Delicious food and nice staff. The food is fantastic, from pizza to salads. I love their breaded chicken pizza but recently I have been obsessed with their classic mushroom and onion pizza. This place is a great choice you if are in the Gladstone or even the Basking Ridge area, where they opened another location. Definitely my go-to spot for pizza takeout.

Now for my standard comments. Location is clean and well kept. A classic pizza joint with a handful of tables to sit at.“

“Everything here at Big Bites is fresh and delicious. You can tell they use quality ingredients. Nice, large open area to sit down and enjoy a great meal. Also very clean establishment. Roger is the owner and chef. His family runs this business alongside Roger. What a great family! They are so very nice and polite. You can tell they all take pride in their work.
We tried a number of items off their menu. The Godfather sandwich and Popeye wrap are 2 of our favorites. The grilled chicken on those sandwiches are so delicious and tender. Highly recommend! My wife and I shared a Greek salad and it was so fresh. The lettuce was so crispy. Their wings are also fantastic with some pretty hot heat levels. My new go to for wings for sure. They also have some breakfast sandwiches. He definitely doesn’t skimp out on the eggs or Taylor ham. A nice full breakfast sandwich. I wish Roger and his family much success with this recently opened business. A great addition to the area. I recommend you give them a try. My family and I will be back for sure.“

“My very Italian New York family and some friends joined us for a celebration at Chianti Wood Fired Pizza (Bernardsville) this past Saturday evening and they are still raving about the delicious food and quality service. We had originally booked a party of 15 and due to unforeseen circumstances ended up having 22 people show up. Frank was so gracious about it and quickly added tables and chairs. The food kept coming and we ate until we rolled out of there. I wish I could pick a favorite food we had but everything was so delicious that I can't decide. The calamari, brussel sprouts and grandma's pizza immediately come to mind. We plan on returning for future celebration and will hopefully get the number of guests right lol.“

“Carmine's is our go to place whenever we crave Italian or a cheesesteak. Husband and I were there yesterday for late lunch. Excellent pasta fagioli soup, huge slices of pizza, and overstuffed, cheesesteak. Great service and reasonable prices. We were informed there is an extra charge if you're not paying cash. This is becoming a common practice and we were informed of it. Server was excellent and made us feel welcome. I was asked if I knew of any pizza parlors served gluten free and of course I recommended Carmine's.“

“My family just held my baby shower here last week. I could not have been more happy with the result. The room was set up beautifully, the service was fantastic, and the food was the best part. Mangianos worked with my mom throughout the whole process. They were willing to make substitutions and even send left over food home with my mom. We had about 40 guests and there was plenty of space in their event room. My friends and family have been raving about the food, especially the shrimp! I could not recommend them more.“
