Everything is so well crafted, even down to the sconces on the walls, and you can taste the passion Chef Phil brings to his dishes; quickly followed by the pristine service by Josh. I can’t say enough good things about Park Place, but what I can say is that I will be going here every chance I get. Every experience at Park Place is exceptional. As a Pinelands employee, advocate, and lover, Park Place nurtures an appreciation for foraged ingredients not just from NJ but other areas that are special to Phil. “Been coming for years — love this place. Great food, great service, great beer list.

The highlights of our meal tonight were the Au Poivre burger on special — so tender, juicy, and cooked exactly as I ordered it — and the apple walnut gorgonzola salad. I subbed in their house balsamic which is SO good with the sweet candied walnuts. HUGE chunks of high quality gorg, too. Iced tea was delicious and the lemons were clean and fresh. (This matters!)

“Aroma is fantastic! Indian cuisine is my favorite food, and I have tried several local Indian restaurants. Aroma is my favorite. The flavors, portion sizes, spice levels, and menu selections are the best. My favorite combo is the chicken makhani, vegetable samosa, cheese naan, and a mango lassi. I feel like the negative reviews are being posted by competitors. I have never had an issue with anything I’ve ordered.“

“This is absolutely one of the two best falafel places in Philadelphia.
One thing you need to know - either come when it’s busy and the falafel always gets out of the oil or ask for fresh, out-of-the-oil falafel.
The difference between a hot super fresh falafel and falafel that sat till cooled down is huge.
One more thing I wish they’d do is to keep their pita bread in a humidifier - to keep them moist, fresh and elastic.
No photos this time because it disappeared in 2 second - I really missed a falafel this good.
Also, the add-ons are amazing, the eggplant, the salad, the tahini - it’s all so good.“

“We came across this place while we were in Philly last month,July. We were looking for a place to dine. It was our first time with Mediterranean cuisine. Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. We concluded with a Turkey tea…it amazingly taste good. Will definitely visit this place again….to Elif,thank you very much.“

“We ate here for the first time and I think this is the best place I’ve ever eaten. The staff was super friendly, they were very accommodating to my gluten allergy, and the food portions were huge. I really enjoyed everything. I wish they would open a restaurant on the Florida Panhandle or honestly anywhere within 8 hours drive of us.“

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“

“Definitely the best Pho joint in Philly. This is one of the Pho 75 mini-chain restaurants starting in DC & Northern VA area (7 corners). Solid broth, chewy noodles and loads of different cut of meats. Add-on prices are also reasonable ($2.5 for meatballs as an example). Service is just meh... but you don't come here for service....“

I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. The meat is 100% Halal and you can taste the quality. Flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. **This is the kind of spot you want to support. “While visiting the city that I grew up in there has always been an abundance of restaurants to eat, look no further than Mabu Kitchen. The atmosphere of this cozy cornerstone in washing square will have you taste buds going wild. The burgers are a cooked exceptionally well with a fluffy pillow of a seeded bun…..it’s mouth watering. Then on the side, of course they have fries but the salads they provided were also a timeless palate refresher between burger bites. Highly recommend, the staff are very attentive, kind, and welcoming. It all ties in with the atmosphere of the place. They take attention to detail seriously and it shows in the way their food is cooked, plated, and served. Well done Mabu Kitchen, I’ll be seeing you for brunch as well.“
