“I had a really great experience visiting Egypt Oasis today with my two children. The staff was so friendly and attentive. And the owner Mo introduced himself and was clearly passionate about his business. I was waiting on by Ella and she spent the time talking to my son about his sports. The business is very clean and they have so many selections. We all had the rolled ice cream but I noticed people in the store getting boba tea. There is much variety to choose from in a really cool atmosphere with cards at the tables. We will definitely be back!!“

“The ice cream and Italian ice taste the same at this location as every other location, which is good. The problem is the selection. I was just at a Ritas in Pennsylvania and they had at least 8 different soft serve ice cream flavors, including cake batter and pistachio among others. This location always only has vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Pistachio is my favorite and I got that when I was in Pennsylvania. I also noticed the other Pennsylvania location had more Italian ice flavors as well.“

“We came past 10:30pm and they close at 10:30, they were super sweet, nice and attentive. They let us in and order everything we wanted, food was amazing, we had the mango crepe cake and drinks 10/10. Packaging is beautiful, reusable and well presented. Today, I tried their special Dubai Sundae—and wow, it was unbelievably good! Rich, flavorful, and totally unique. If you’re an ice cream lover, this place is a must-visit.

“An old fashioned ice cream spot with tables to sit at and enjoy a nice treat. They have an excellent small vanilla shake and they don't skimp on the whipped cream. It costs about $5 and the sizing is more equivalent to a medium. All of the ice cream tastes fresh. Although prices are higher than we are used to, the quality is worth the cost. They have parking on each side and if you want to sit and rest on a bench near a tree nearby they have that option. They could benefit from some nice planters in the front. I will be back for their excellent shakes during the summer.“

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.“

“There were 4 vegan flavors when I went (watermelon sorbet, mango sorbet, oatly vanilla, and oatly latte). I enjoyed all of them. For toppings, I got wet walnuts, which were very delicious, and oreo pieces. There used to be vegan cookie dough bites that I really enjoyed, but I didn't see them this time (there were cookie dough bites, but not labeled as vegan). I would like some more vegan flavors and toppings to make this place even better.“

“Ice cream - both hard & soft-serve, ice pops, and other frozen treats with all the trimmings and toppings. They also have an eclectic mix of candies and toys, plus a few trinkets and gift items. Prices are comparably reasonable. Located right on Hamilton Street with plenty of on site parking. The service is outside (thru windows), so they're not always open on the colder days. But it's a great place to hang out on one of the benches when the sun is warm. It feels good supporting local business, too.“

“Went here on a whim and really enjoyed it. They have a bunch of unique and tasty flavors. I saw cakes for sale, and they sell take-out pints/gallons of ice cream in addition to cones/cups.

The staff was really friendly and helpful in navigating all the flavor choices. Your group can sample up to 5 flavors.

Eight of us agreed this was a great choice and a delicious dessert option.

“Rita has always been my favorite spot to eat frozen custards and ice creams, but recently, I discovered this Rita here in Berkeley Heights, and it is such a good spot. There is plenty of parking right in front of it so that you sit in a car and enjoy it. Service is quick and efficient, and ice creams are amazing as always.“

I felt really bad that I was unable to tip him or the great staff there using my card. Knowing that most don’t carry cash after Covid-19 (because let’s be honest, money was dirty before the pandemic) it seems unfair that the staff is unable to get tips via another method. People who work customer service jobs deserve to be able to receive tips for making sure the customers are taken care of. Parking: Parking is a bit tough as it is on a very busy street. If you go around the block towards supremo supermarket you’ll be able to find a wider variety of parking.“
