“I had a really great experience visiting Egypt Oasis today with my two children. The staff was so friendly and attentive. And the owner Mo introduced himself and was clearly passionate about his business. I was waiting on by Ella and she spent the time talking to my son about his sports. The business is very clean and they have so many selections. We all had the rolled ice cream but I noticed people in the store getting boba tea. There is much variety to choose from in a really cool atmosphere with cards at the tables. We will definitely be back!!“

“The ice cream and Italian ice taste the same at this location as every other location, which is good. The problem is the selection. I was just at a Ritas in Pennsylvania and they had at least 8 different soft serve ice cream flavors, including cake batter and pistachio among others. This location always only has vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Pistachio is my favorite and I got that when I was in Pennsylvania. I also noticed the other Pennsylvania location had more Italian ice flavors as well.“

“I visited Icy Melon in Edison for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. The environment is quiet and low key, which makes it easy to relax but the seating could definitely use an upgrade. It’s not the coziest spot to linger, but the food more than makes up for it.

I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.

“An old fashioned ice cream spot with tables to sit at and enjoy a nice treat. They have an excellent small vanilla shake and they don't skimp on the whipped cream. It costs about $5 and the sizing is more equivalent to a medium. All of the ice cream tastes fresh. Although prices are higher than we are used to, the quality is worth the cost. They have parking on each side and if you want to sit and rest on a bench near a tree nearby they have that option. They could benefit from some nice planters in the front. I will be back for their excellent shakes during the summer.“

Parking: Parking is a bit tough as it is on a very busy street. If you go around the block towards supremo supermarket you’ll be able to find a wider variety of parking.“

I stopped in for a quick bite and ended up having some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The barbacoa tacos were incredible—super tender, flavorful, and packed with just the right amount of spice. You can tell the meat was slow-cooked with care. The tortillas were fresh and warm, and everything was topped off with fresh cilantro and onions, just how I like it.

The service was friendly and fast, and the whole place had a great vibe—laid-back but clean and welcoming. If you’re anywhere near this spot and love tacos, do yourself a favor and try the barbacoa. I’ll definitely be back!“

I ordered the Amour S’more Ice Cream Cake Jar, but unfortunately, they were sold out of jars, so I had to get it in a cup instead. The cashier apologized for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. My order was still delicious—it came with a big cookie and a piece of cake in the middle. Definitely a 10/10 treat! A little hesitant at first because I was afraid it was going to be Shake Shack expensive since they are right across the street, but was pleasantly surprised to find the prices way more reasonable. Thank McDonald's value meal prices, but much better burgers. Kids had tenders which they loved with the thin shoe string fries. Wife and I had the California style double combo and was a great burger. Definitely worth the cost. Wife also had the tots which she said were even better than Sonic tots and I had to agree. Kids also had the Oreo double trouble custard/shake and said it was delicious. Definitely be back for more.“
