“Phenomenal. I can’t get over how sweet the lady who attended us was. This is the first restaurant I’ve been to where i felt as if the food was truly made with love. The food itself was absolutely delicious, and the price was very reasonable. My friend and I ordered the fried chicken, tteokbokki, and bulgogi kimbap. The portions were perfect, we finished ALL of it (and licked our fingers clean). Their plates are also so cute if I may add. I will definitely bring all of my friends here when they visit Teaneck.“

With so many incredible flavors to choose from, we always go for the half & half option. Our favorites are the "Soy Garlic" that is sweet and savory(my son's fav) and "Cheesling(my fav)"!! coated with a light dusting of cheesy goodness that melts in your mouth.

If you're a fan of loaded fries, you need to try the Cheesling Fries. They' are topped with the same delicious cheese powder as the chicken, and when you drizzle their secret sauce on top...omg..this combination is so addictive! ?You will find it hard to stop eating. Must try!!“

it's a family run shop where the owners live right above the kitchen. the food is really good and the lady was super nice to us when ordering. the restaurant area itself is pretty basic, more of a takeout place than actual dine in.

“Tried their food for the first time, they just recently opened. I was impressed! It was fresh and tasty. Korean fried chicken is fried twice so the crispy-ness on this definitely did not disappoint! If you like extra crispy chicken it is a must to come here. The pieces of chicken were generous, tender, and juicy, I loved every bite. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the pickled radishes but I ended up absolutely loving them, they were refreshing after eating the chicken and rice. I was satisfied with my food and look forward to enjoying it again. Customer service was nice and on time. The restaurant was very clean and orderly. I would recommend this restaurant.

“My boyfriend and I absolutely loved the food at Mama Chicken! We got the 8pc sweet and spicy wings to start and they were super crunchy and flavorful the sauce was great!! Then we got the Curry Don Katsu and the Bulgogi-deop-bop for our entrees. The Curry Don Katsu was delicious. The yellow sauce that was on the fried chicken was a great touch. I wish there was a little bit more because it was so good!! We also loved the Bulgogi as it was tasty and not very greasy. We definitely would recommend this place to grab a bite if you want some great fried chicken and wings. We will be back!!!“

Aside from my milkshake heartbreak, I have to give major props to the staff and management at the Garden State Plaza location. These people? They're running a well-oiled chicken empire. They’re fast, friendly, and honestly, too pleasant for people working in the middle of a crowded mall. I've seen them handle lunch rushes with the kind of efficiency that would make NASA jealous. And they do it all while still delivering their signature, 'My pleasure,' which somehow makes me feel like I’m at a five-star restaurant rather than a mall food court.

“I tried the breakfast and was NOT disappointed. I breakfast burritos come in either chicken or sausage with eggs and hash browns rolled up in a tortilla very filling. “We went to Don Chicken today for the first time and are we glad to have found this place! We got the plain wings and snow (cheese) wings, as well as the tonkatsu and ramen. Everything was amazing - the pickled radish was beautiful and crunchy, the accompanying soup and slaw were spot on. The ramen was ok (I personally don't like chicken ramen but it was mind-blowing). The chicken wings were crispy and full of flavor. This is a well hidden gem of a restaurant!!! Must go.EDIT April 2022: We've been regulars of this establishment for well over a year at this point and the quality is still as good as the first time we went. Absolutely honorable and very well done to the staff and owners here. We've stopped getting the snow/cheese wings just because our personal tastes changed - but we are absolutely in love with the soy garlic wings (and of course, the plain wings). WAY better than Bonchon.“
