“This is my go-to spot for Sunday Brunch. The 3-course Prix Fixe is affordable and delicious. Portions and drinks are just right and servers are engaging. Music is not over-bearing and there are TVs by bar to enjoy sports events. Just a pleasant place to spend Sunday afternoon.“

We were a group of 10 from NH looking for a place for dinner before the show. Max raved about the food at the Millburn Standard and recommended we go there. The staff was friendly, very accommodating to our large party (we did call for reservations, but they don’t take them) and the food was excellent (get the nachos!) They were just as nice when we came back after the play just to sit and have drinks. I feel like they went out of their way to accommodate us and we are all most appreciative. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“We have dined here many times before seeing various shows at the Papermill Playhouse, and our experience has always been delightful. It is a nice, quiet little restaurant with a big heart. Everyone there is so kind and attentive. The service is wonderful. Everyone from the host, our server, even the bartender greeted us with big smiles. The food was fabulous as well. The chef came to our table to chat and see how everything came out - fantastic! It’s great that they have a pre-fixed menu, you pick your appetizer, main course, and desserts, and it’s all themed based on the show, so clever! The steak was cooked to perfection. By the time dessert came out, I could barely eat another bite, but I did! :) Drinks are delicious as well. The manager is a nice guy too! He came around to see how everything was - impeccable. From the atmosphere, to the food, the drinks, the staff, it was truly a wonderful time. We are looking forward to many more pre-dinner shows at the Carriage House!“

“My family frequently orders breakfast delivery from Oscars. Their food is delicious with generous portions and delivery is always quick. Our favorites are the French toast, omelettes and Taylor ham cheese and egg sandwich. Their French toast is especially yummy. Better than any other breakfast place I’ve tried. I’ve also ordered lunch, and our favorites are the chicken fingers and turkey burger. The chicken fingers are large and juicy. Their wings are also good.“

“New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. A wonderful experience!“

“Too bad I live out of state because this is my FAVORITE restaurant in NJ. Wonderful staff and food. Not as noisy as other places because of the decor/layout. “Highly recommend! We had our wedding at Galloping Hill Golf Course in the summer of 2025. The day was everything we could have hoped for and everything went so smooth! We worked with Emily throughout the process and she was great to communicate with. Any questions were answered right away. We wanted a venue that had both inside and outdoor options and loved that it had a covered patio for use all night. Ellis was our day of coordinator and both of our bridal attendants made the day run so smooth. Our guests loved cocktail hour and dinner. There was a great amount of food we went with the seafood station, pasta, Brazilian, and Chinese. We also did the breakfast sandwiches to go for the end of the night! The golf course made great photo backgrounds as well. We had the best time and would do it all over again if we could!“

“Terrific and nostalgic fare. Got Turkey club for my meal with their delicious French fries. The sandwich was good enough to conquer my hunger and I only ate half. Took home the leftovers. My husband had the classic burger with French fries and it was huge and cooked to perfection. He said it was juicy and full of flavor with all the toppings. We both liked that the French fries came in a metal cup container because it kept the temperature longer which allowed us to eat them warm. I chose the green tea iced tea and thought it was perfectly not too sweet. Hubby got plain iced tea and it was unsweetened and terrific too. Prices are comparable to the area with tip just under $60.“
