“Very good food but service was erratic. Very pleasant waitstaff but we were a group of 8. A few appetizers came out first, the others followed along with one of the main dishes. Then 2 people who ordered burgers got theirs before the rest of the main dishes came out.“

“My friends and I have season tickets at the Papermill and always go to the Carriage House for dinner before the show. It is a cozy little place and they do not rush you at all. It is so much better to sit and enjoy a cup of tea after dinner and not have to rush into the theatre. Giovanna has been our waitress many times and is so wonderful and makes you feel like you are the only diners she is waiting on. On this visit I had the parsip and chestnut soup, roasted chicken and coconut snowball. In past I have had the short ribs, pork chop as well as the duck and all have been fabulous. The chef takes pride in his food and always comes out to ensure everyone is happy. I can't wait until the next show and dinner.“

“We went to celebrate Thanksgiving at Seasons and we were blown away. The food was fenomenal! Portions were huge and a price was reasonable. They were busy, but the service was outstanding. Our wait was so sweet and patient. We had great time and definitely will be back next year! Highly recommend!“

“Had dinner there for the second time on Saturday night! It was very memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the eggplant with the Barata for an appetizer. It was so delicious and so tasty and my main course was the homemade linguine with lump crab and corn. We also got the meatball which was spectacular and then I got the cheesecake dessert which was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely love love love this place. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again.“

“On a lark, we decided to try Luna Stella for dinner earlier this week. We caught it out of the corner of our eyes as it is tucked away slightly off the Main Street of Maplewood, but boy are we glad we found it! We happened to catch them on a live music night so we decided to sit at a bar table and while the dining room was nearly empty, the bar was full. Our waiter was attentive even with a full plate of tables and the owner came over to us several times to see how we were doing. Our drinks were very good, but the food was amazing! The chicken was pounded so thin for the Milenese and fried perfectly. The short rib pappardelle had a deep unctuous beef flavor but was not heavy at all. The pasta was cooked perfectly! We will definitely be going back!“

We tried several, and seriously each one was SOOO GOOD!!! I'm a huge fan of Detroit style pizza, and it was cooked to perfection! Dessert was absolutely phenomenal as well! One of the best meals I've had in some time, from start to finish! They even had live music upstairs, which was such a nice surprise! Can't wait for our next trip back!!! “New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. “Ordered calamari and it was so salty when we got towards the bottom. Ordered the Easter special entrees (prime rib and short rib) with mashed potatoes, same thing. Too salty that it wasn't safe to eat for someone like me with high blood pressure. Manager came over making his rounds and we told him about the overly salty food today. He went to the kitchen to check and came back and agreed with us. He said they were making a new batch but never heard from him again even though he was in our area multiple times. There was no offer of comping part of our meals considering that my wife and I did not have an edible side (mashed potatoes) to go with our meal. Have been dining here for years and this has been the worst experience we've had at this establishment. Disappointed that we didn't get another side to eat with our meal.“

“One of, if not, the best place to go In the neighborhood. Fantastic bartenders, who know your name, what you drink and if not they always have a welcoming face…. Soups are great!, meals better, Thursday night Prime Rib night. Never a bad day to go except Mondays… and that’s because they are closed. Don’t forget a visit for St. Patrick’s Day!!!!“

“Passed this place a bunch of times. So I was hungry. So I said let’s give it a try. Well was amazing. Staff from moment walked in very friendly. Warm welcome. Started off with the Fire Roasted Wings (10) flame-broiled all-natural chicken wings marinated in fresh herbs & spices + lemon & herb dipping sauce Dough-Roni Pie Olli Salumeria pepperoni + tomato sauce + ricotta + fresh mozzarella + red onions Lemon Ricotta Ravioli Hand-made Ravioli + summer squash + fresh mint + pistachios + lemon zest + parmesan cheese Got off track sorry. Has seating at bar and has outside patio. (Was just a little to hot out there today) Very clean and definitely swinging by again. It’s right across street from Fairfield airport. Can’t forget the wine cooler before seated. There had to be 25+ wines to choose from.“
