“I stumbled upon this hidden gem during a snowstorm, and what an incredible find it turned out to be! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality, and despite the weather, the restaurant remained open—showing true dedication to its customers.

Jessie, our bartender, truly elevated the experience. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made the evening even more enjoyable. The DJ set the perfect vibe, spinning old-school hip-hop that created an intimate yet lively atmosphere, even with a smaller crowd due to the storm. The fact that they stayed open and kept the energy high speaks volumes about their consistency and appreciation for their guests. A special touch was when they went out of their way to sing happy birthday to my boyfriend—such a thoughtful and memorable gesture!

Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! The octopus appetizer was cooked to perfection, and the olives that accompanied it were hands down the best I’ve ever had. For my entrée, I had the harper steak, and I can confidently say it was one of the most flavorful steaks I’ve had in years. Every bite was a 10/10, and the pricing was more than reasonable for the quality of the meal.

I’m not from the area, but this experience left such an impression that I’ve already shared it on social media, and I’ll definitely be returning. A huge thank you to the team for making this such a memorable night—I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“Had dinner there for the second time on Saturday night! It was very memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the eggplant with the Barata for an appetizer. It was so delicious and so tasty and my main course was the homemade linguine with lump crab and corn. We also got the meatball which was spectacular and then I got the cheesecake dessert which was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely love love love this place. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again.“

“Food was incredible, server was SO thoughtful and quick, food came out of the kitchen fast and hot. Ordered the 6oz wood-fired filet with mashed potatoes and broccolini, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Their desserts are small and adorable, the perfect amount of food.

They had a little birthday sign on the table, the server brought out a little champagne for a birthday toast (and a flute with ginger ale for me), and the dessert came out on a Happy Birthday plate with a candle. “Second baptism brunch I've attended here. The staff and food the last time were incredible but the staff this time were above and beyond incredible!! The food was very good and the place was extremely clean! Only issue I had was they put salad on top of each meal after serving a salad to start the meal. Didn't make much sense to me. But I still highly recommend this place!!! Too bad I could only give 5 stars to the service as it deserves 10!!!“

“Delicious food. Great service by Sydney! It started with amazing honey bread at the table. Flatbreads yum, especially the one with fig topping. Muscles, tuna tartare, noodle flush, brussel sprouts, calamari salad, and more! All yum! Would absolutely go there again. We had 8-10 people and the service was excellent.“

“New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. Started off with the Fire Roasted Wings (10) flame-broiled all-natural chicken wings marinated in fresh herbs & spices + lemon & herb dipping sauce Dough-Roni Pie Olli Salumeria pepperoni + tomato sauce + ricotta + fresh mozzarella + red onions Lemon Ricotta Ravioli Hand-made Ravioli + summer squash + fresh mint + pistachios + lemon zest + parmesan cheese Got off track sorry. Has seating at bar and has outside patio. (Was just a little to hot out there today) Very clean and definitely swinging by again. It’s right across street from Fairfield airport. Can’t forget the wine cooler before seated. There had to be 25+ wines to choose from.“
