“I recently bought the Oreo Cookies & Cream Extreme ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery in Milltown for my husband’s birthday. He’s a huge fan of ice cream cake—I’m usually not—but this one was an absolute hit! It was so delicious that even I went back for seconds… and so did everyone else.

We brought it to a restaurant to celebrate, and even gave a slice to our waiter. He loved it so much he shared it with the kitchen staff, and they all went crazy over it—asking where we got it from. Safe to say, Cold Stone has some new fans!

Hands down the best $49 I’ve ever spent on a birthday cake. I highly recommend it for any celebration—you won’t regret it!“

“I had a really great experience visiting Egypt Oasis today with my two children. The staff was so friendly and attentive. And the owner Mo introduced himself and was clearly passionate about his business. I was waiting on by Ella and she spent the time talking to my son about his sports. The business is very clean and they have so many selections. We all had the rolled ice cream but I noticed people in the store getting boba tea. There is much variety to choose from in a really cool atmosphere with cards at the tables. We will definitely be back!!“

“100000/10 the only crepe place I will ever go to no matter how far I have to drive!!! Perfect place for ice cream and crepes!! Have tried a few of their crepes and they’re all always so amazing! Ice cream is super creamy and such a good combo with the hot crepe. Also tried their Dubai strawberry cup and honestly it’s one of the best ones I’ve gotten and fairly priced for the cup they give! Everybody else makes it so expensive and such a small cup but this place is reasonably and affordable priced in my opinion. The workers are extremely kind and patient no matter how busy they are!“

“I visited Icy Melon in Edison for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. The environment is quiet and low key, which makes it easy to relax but the seating could definitely use an upgrade. It’s not the coziest spot to linger, but the food more than makes up for it.

I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.

While the vibe is more functional than cozy, Icy Melon is perfect for a quick dessert run or a casual catch up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet and photogenic, it’s definitely worth a visit.“

“Just tried Happy Dayz ice cream in Edison - really good! Great selection of flavors - traditional American, sorbet, and some Indian flavors as well (and two sugar free!) Friendly service and fun atmosphere! Open late, even on a Wednesday. (Not to mention cheaper than Carvel) I recommend - go give it a try!“

Prices are comparably reasonable. Located right on Hamilton Street with plenty of on site parking. The service is outside (thru windows), so they're not always open on the colder days. But it's a great place to hang out on one of the benches when the sun is warm. It feels good supporting local business, too.“

I was just at a Ritas in Pennsylvania and they had at least 8 different soft serve ice cream flavors, including cake batter and pistachio among others. This location always only has vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Pistachio is my favorite and I got that when I was in Pennsylvania. I also noticed the other Pennsylvania location had more Italian ice flavors as well.“

“Not sure what all the bad comments are about - I've been here twice and both the ice cream and service has been great every time. I have a slight suspicion of why there's so much hate but I won't go there - instead, I'll speak on my experience.

Not only do they have classic flavors (chocolate, vanilla, double chocolate), but they have exotic flavors (lychee, a few spices) that are done extremely well, and some classic Baskin Robbins-like flavors (rainbow, cookie monster) that don't taste synthetic like Baskin Robbins. In terms of texture, the ice cream and even the sorbets are creamy. There was maybe one bite where I felt some ice flake but that's about it.

Also, they let you try as many samples as you want! The prices are also very fair - two scoops, medium size, for $5.“

“You’ll find flavors you didn’t know existed and your tastebuds will thank you. The ice cream is egg-free, GMO-free, and without preservatives. These are not words that I associate with ice cream. But I can’t deny that the end result was surprisingly good.

There are cakes for sale and take-out pints/gallons of ice cream in addition to cones/cups. Decent prices for decent decadence. Parking is adequate, and be on the lookout for pedestrians.
