“We decided to grab dinner here last minute and we really enjoyed it! For appetizers my husband ordered New England clam chowder while I ordered the lobster bisque - both were very large portions with tons of fresh clams and lobster chunks. We also split the garlic steamed clams which were delicious. For entrees, I ordered the salmon while my husband ordered the steak frites; everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We finished off with both raspberry and mango sorbet for dessert. Our server was attentive and personable. There was also live music offering a great ambiance. We can’t wait to come back for another great experience!“

“This was our 5th time dining at Angelica’s and food was excellent! Every time we go we try something new and each time we think it gets better and better . When you hear the specials of the night , your mouth is watering before the waiter is finished telling you, and I make him repeat it a million times because I want to order everything. The service was wonderful , the Maitre d’ s are always making sure you are comfortable and everything is perfection . (Carlos )our waiter is so attentive and accommodating, goes above and beyond . The ambiance was perfect … love the outside seating , so romantic, and beautiful.. (my favorite ) blankets , heaters, just so cozy , love love love that outside garden dining . “I love this place. Sitting by it self away from the hustle and bustle from long branch shopping center, Rooney’s is king of oceanfront dining any season. We went in April, it’s awesome to have dinner indoors during winter months watching the ocean. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and upscale. The bar is huge. The angry lobster and char grilled oysters is a must try. My seven year old loved it. That alone tells you something. The drinks are awesome, service is impeccable.My personal shore fave❤️.“

“Always delicious! Everything truly is. The sangria was so flavorful. We had their shrimp appetizer, chorizo (not fatty )and fried calamari (cooked to perfection). It was a large party, maybe 75 people. They had food that just kept coming family style. All delicious. If you like flan this is the place to go!“

“I was so impressed with The Squire, I had to write my very first review of a venue.On April 20, 2024, I held my daughter-in-law’s baby shower at The Squire at Branches in West Long Branch. NJ.My daughter-in-law saw an Instagram post on the restaurant, and we decided to schedule an appointment, as pictures can be deceiving.The venue was really very pretty. I always check out the restrooms in a restaurant or venue before making a decision – The Squires’ rest rooms were exceptionally clean and beautifully appointed with designer soap pumps and lotion and nice hand towels.We chose to have the shower on the restaurant side. The lobby was so lovely with a place for guests to take photos, a place for the welcome sign and seating chart / cards, etc. before entering the reception room for the shower. Artificial flowers hung from the ceiling giving it a soft elegant appearance. Each of the windows was adorn with flowers and candles as was the fireplace. Gorgeous room!We chose the Breakfast Brunch Menu for our guests. Although their Brunch menu is extensive, I chose to add an Omelet Station and an extra Hot Station. I probably didn't have to add anything extra as there was a lot of food! The presentation of all the stations, cold and hot, was exceptional! My guests kept raving about the food. Several went back for second and third helpings.I was told there would be a screen behind the hot station tables to hide any tables and chairs not in use. This was not just a plain old screen or room divider. It was a beautifully detailed wall that matched the other walls in the room. Again gorgeous!The sales manager, Stacie, was a pleasure to work with, and let’s not forget about the bartender and wait staff ladies. So very professional, helpful, and accommodating. Knowing that I was busy with my guests and activities, the staff was very attentive, always checking with me to see if I needed anything.I only wish I knew about The Squire at Branches before this year. Without a doubt, I would have held my other parties here too.“

I've ordered the streak frites and it's delicious like melts in mouth tender and flavorful. The bread with cheese is ridiculous as a starter meaning it's amazing. “We had wanted to try Saffron for a while and when we saw they were participating in restaurant week we went. It did not disappoint. Service was excellent and the food outstanding. We had the crispy cauliflower and lamb tart to start. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned and the cauliflower was definitely crispy. The saffron butter chicken and the prawns narkel were our entree. Prawns were large and cooked to perfection and the chicken was moist and juicy Both sauces were so well spiced. We will definitely return.“

“BEST lobster outside Maine & I've Summered in Maine since 1961. I only order the Connecticut roll, warm, dripping with large buttery pieces of claw & chopped tail on a traditional soft lobster roll. Delicious! Better flavor, fresher than lobster at the shore's best known seafood restaurants. And a few $ cheaper. I tried the mac & cheese w/ lobster once but frankly, lobster is way too delicate to drown in that sandwich, but it was a noble sandwich for fans. I stick to exactly 1 thing now: 5 stars for their CT lobster roll at Cousins truck, Brick, NJ.“

“Fresh, delicious seafood for a fair price. Friendly service and good recommendations. A hidden gem amongst the locals. $54 got us 6 long neck clams, 6 coconut fried shrimp, large crab cake, cup of New England clam chowder, side of coleslaw and lobster roll. My only critique is the red pepper in the lobster roll was a little forward. Clams were very fresh and crab cake was one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend.“

“Really excellent meal with beautiful views. Both Manhattan and New England clam chowders are great as are the biscuits for dipping. The hot lobster roll is tasty and the coleslaw, that you can get with the meal, is great also. The broiled scallops were delicious and the sauteed spinach done perfectly. “Had a great second visit to Sea Grass! As mentioned in other reviews this restaurant is BYOB, so we started with our wine (which they nicely brought an ice bucket for) and the oyster special. My boyfriend really appreciated how the oysters weren't overly salty and the pear glaze added a good flavor. Since we had such a large appetizer, we decided to split the halibut for our entree. We were pleasantly surprised when our waitress brought out two plates, pre-split for us. The halibut had a nice herb crust and was served over lobster risotto (and they definitely did not skimp on the lobster!!). Overall, lovely dining experience!“

Walked in and a less than handful of folks at the small bar. No one at the tables. I had to trust the Yelp reviews. Two people seemed to be working, and I believe one was manager and chef. Menu was nice and service was attentive and friendly. The guac was very generous and very good. The entrees had a lot going on on the plate. Fish, rice, corn, salad, veggies, Brussel sprouts, asparagus. A very large serving plate. Could tell care went into the food presentation. Will definitely be back. “Barnacle Bill’s is an absolute staple of the Rumson area and is a must visit. It’s a bar/tavern/grog shop that is somewhat trapped in time but in the absolute best way. It’s dark, loud and crowded but it just feels perfect. Burgers are charbroiled and the steak fries are great. Service is surprisingly good and the people watching is even better. I’m really happy places like this still exist.“

“Best sushi I have ever had in my life. I’ve been eating sushi for decades now and this place was by far the best. It’s about a half hour away but I’ve made the trip twice this past month already. The quality of the fish is of the highest quality. I live near Xina and this place crushes that spot. They have toro and king salmon on hand all the time. Not only is the quality of the fish the best the creativity of their rolls is Also the best I’ve ever had. The upstairs portion of the restaurant is small but it’s nice. It’s BYOB which I also like. It’s also right on a busy street in red bank with plenty of places in walking distance to go to for a drink after dinner if you want.“
