“Though no one was answering the phone there to see if it was open, we ventured on a Wednesday night around 630 before a show at the Count Basie. Walked in and a less than handful of folks at the small bar. No one at the tables. I had to trust the Yelp reviews. Two people seemed to be working, and I believe one was manager and chef. Menu was nice and service was attentive and friendly. The guac was very generous and very good. The entrees had a lot going on on the plate. Fish, rice, corn, salad, veggies, Brussel sprouts, asparagus. A very large serving plate. Could tell care went into the food presentation. Will definitely be back. This is a hidden gem that deserves a spotlight.“

“Very tasty burgers. Hard to categorize - they're either little burgers or fat sliders lol. Came 2 to an order on mini buns. Very juicy and cooked to order.Fries were ok, but cheese sauce felt cloying in my mouth. Buffalo tenders were run of the mill frozen tenders with jar sauce. *Shrug*.Small eating area in store - don't assume you'll be able to get a seat.My recommendation would be to stick to the juicy burgers medium rare and simple fries. “Best sushi I have ever had in my life. I’ve been eating sushi for decades now and this place was by far the best. It’s about a half hour away but I’ve made the trip twice this past month already. The quality of the fish is of the highest quality. I live near Xina and this place crushes that spot. They have toro and king salmon on hand all the time. Not only is the quality of the fish the best the creativity of their rolls is Also the best I’ve ever had. The upstairs portion of the restaurant is small but it’s nice. It’s BYOB which I also like. It’s also right on a busy street in red bank with plenty of places in walking distance to go to for a drink after dinner if you want.“
“This is our favorite restaurant in Red Bank - been there a dozen times and never had a bad meal. Incredibly reasonable for the caliber and quality of meal they provide. service is always perfect and the owner watches over the front of house like a hawk - making sure no one needs anything. Can’t really go wrong with any brunch food.Dinner is good but does not impress as much as their brunch. And it’s hard for me to recommend them for takeout. Portions are sometimes small and disproportionate. We ordered a crispy goat cheese salad that was tiny and came with 1 really small medallion of goat cheese that was 2 bites.“

I had grilled fish of the day which was Grouper and they gave me some delish garlic sauted spinach since mine didn't come with anything. My husband had the Bolanaise Pappadelle which was awesome.
