The prices were so reasonable which is rare in Montclair! and they were so dog friendly! it was our first time there but not the last!“

“I went for my birthday and was very excited but the website allowed me to make a reservation at 11 when the staff mentioned over and over various staff members that the kitchen closes at 11:15 and we felt extremely rushed and unwelcome. When we first got there the first person we spoke to acted as if we were in the wrong having a reservation at that time and we had to talk to three different staff to even sit down. I was very upset because if they had called asked me to change it to earlier I would have I simply didn't know. I thought 11 was a good brunch time and it was an available time to book. The sever kept rushing us and it ruined the time as I felt uncomfortable. I think the website should be fixed to not allow reservations at that time to avoid this in the future.“

“Tankys is the spot! These people in the comments below complaining about it being unsafe just have nothing better to do. Other bars right down the block plays music just as loud and stays open just as late. Besides the one incident last year, there aren’t any brawls or fights that happen there. Most ppl that go there are regulars and know each other. To the ppl complaint about it being loud in open late, you have the power to move to another place you knew where you were moving to when you moved there tankys has been there my whole lifeThe drinks are strong and cheap, the vibe is chill, older crowd, when they have a DJ the music is good, u can bring food in, and they have a lil pool table and a parking lot. “North End Bar has an exceptional atmosphere with very friendly people that once you arrive for the first time, they treat you as if they have known you for centuries. Every other Thursday they have karaoke after 8pm and people come to sing that anyone wonders if they were professional singers in the past. Extraordinarily privileged voices. The owner of the North End Bar and his employees are super nice and friendly. I recommend it if you want to come and have a great time.“
