“I can't give a full review because it was my 1st time visiting the establishment. I can give a review of what I ordered & of the person that served me. Everything looked & smelled good. The person who served me was kind & friendly. I had the picadillo with white rice, sweet plantains, a fried yuca fritter, & a side of beans. It all was very tasty, with the exception of the fritter. My only qualm was the pricing for what I ordered. It came to $29, including 2 bags of cheese doodles.Would I go back... Yes. Everything looked vibrant & fresh... I wanted to try EVERYTHING.“
“We were in NY for a couple of days, because our baby broke down, while they were doing the repairs the mechanics recommended this gem, excellent food, good atmosphere, friendly, helpful and cordial employees, we asked for a typical dish, they promised to make it up to date Next, we returned 2 days later and if they complied, they had the "Locrio de cerdo" dish. What a delight.The coffee has a strange taste, but it's not bad. The breads and croissants are delicious.The bathroom is small, but it allows you to freshen up ?The man in the kitchen is quite nice, and the lady at the front desk speaks very well, the site makes you feel comfortable. They let me stay for a while and it was great, because looking at a broken down truck is no fun.“

“The food was extremely flavorful and delicious. If I am back in NJ I will come back for sure.
As a vegetarian I got served a meal that had meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully fault them. I'm sure if I had ordered on my own they would have said something.
Vegetarian options: Not much for vegetarians and my rice ended up having meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully blame them“

“Had a great lunch today. The staff was very attentive. I had the cuban sandwich and my friend had the Ceasar Salad with Churasco. One of the managers, Jenny, came to check on our table and was very nice to us on top of our server being great. Definitely will be back again and again.“

“This is a hidden gem! It’s the first time we came to this place. I don’t understand why anyone would rate it less than 5 stars! We had the Cuban sandwich, beef empanadas, chicharrones and fried plantains. They also gave us chimichurri sauce and passion fruit garlic sauce for dipping…YUMMMM. Everything was super fresh, cooked just right and perfectly spiced. The service was amazing! I will definitely come again the next time we are in the area!“

“At the barista's recommendation, I ordered the mini picada and it was so good! My brother got a steak salad as well, so we were sharing the whole time. Anyway I had to pry into my memory to remember my limited Spanish speaking skills, but it really goes to show that food transcends barriers!“

“We went to Omar’s this morning for a bite, upon entry we were warmly greeted and customers looked to be regulars. All of this was a good sign. We ordered two Taylor ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches and coffee. This sandwich was no joke it was much larger than expected, the bread was fantastic, eggs cooked just right and the Taylor Ham, well it’s Taylor Ham it’s always perfect. The Cuban coffee was amazing. Highly recommend.“
