“The food here was excellent! We ordered a variety of sushi and a delicious soup, both of which were great. Just a heads-up on the tiramisu: it’s not a classic recipe, but still interesting.

The only downside was the service model. It is self-service, and the staff wasn't very attentive about letting us know when our food was ready to be picked up. Despite the lack of table service, they still ask for a tip, which felt a bit off. Overall, great food, but the service system could be improved.“

“BEST SUSHI AROUND!!!!!!! I’ve tried sushi up to 20 minutes from Plainsboro and I was disappointed every time. I found out that Hiro opened from a Clippers magazine and I literally couldn’t be more excited that it opened 2 minutes away from my apartment. Super clean, great music, nice decorations! “Always a gem! I work in Hboro and come here multiple times a month for their sushi lunch special. Delicious salad and miso soup with three rolls. “We walked into this place last minute on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday since another sushi place had been unable to accommodate gf. We could not have stumbled upon a better experience! Elan at the sushi bar made us a custom omakase tasting all gluten free and so delicious. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and really created a one of a kind meal while making us feel special and taken care of. We ended up with about 15 different courses i believe all fabulous and ended with a special ice cream sushi dessert. “Amazing. There is options for everyone the flavors are insane. You can choose between an item based menu a set menu or omakase and all of them are worth it, everything tastes so fresh. Staff is super nice and can accommodate your requests. Price is a bit steep but it’s fair for the quality of the products. Like let me tell you I think this is the best quality of fish in central New Jersey at least. Unfortunately it is a BYOB but they can accommodate. Big fan will be coming back!“

“Midori is our local Go To for consistently good sushi. We've been going here for a few years now since they reopened a while after COVID. My neighbor's turned us on to the place when they ordered sushi platters during and after COVID since they didn't open their dining area until much after most places had already opened. Their sushi and food has remained consistent with quality and taste and never failed us. Sushi is always fresh tasting and lots of variety of specialty rolls also. My kids really love the chicken katsu dinner and always get that. Their Kani salad is one of the best I've had around the area. Their dining area is nice and large with plenty of seating and is a great atmosphere. They are BYOB also, which is a plus. It you are from the area you are missing out if you don't have Midori as one of your go to local sushi spots. You won't be disappointed.“

“I came on a Saturday after work. I was really craving some takeout sushi and this was really close so I tried it. I arrived earlier than my pickup time and waited inside. It was packed! I couldnt find parking to pickup my takeout order lol, and their parking lot is pretty huge for a stand a lone building!!
It was a little loud inside, but there was live music and the bar looked nice. I also noticed though several people waiting in the lobby waiting to be seated; it took a while for the host/server to show up to ask about my meal. It was ready at the time it said it was. The packaging was very premium, down to the ramekins with the sauces and reusable bag. Sushi was spectacular and at a VERY good price... Yellowtail roll had plenty of fish. Sashimi is reasonably priced and they are generous with the pieces... unlike some places that'll have half the roll be rice.
Will be coming here again; maybe during a quieter dine-in period though, and will update my review if I decide to sit down one day.“

Thankfully I found Mizu Japanese Cuisine on Uber Eats. I ordered the Chicken Katsu which comes with all the fixings (salad, miso soup, rice). The chicken was so juicy and delicious. I also got a side order of pork Gyoza which really tied the meal together. If you are stuck in a post-Japan trip depression this place will surely lift your spirits. “We just visited Asian Bistro for the first time and it will not be the last time. Between the seven of us we tried a range of dishes, including udon, sushi, bibimbap, shrimp dumplings, and chicken with broccoli — everything was great. The miso soup was perfect and we gladly received a little extra, along with edamame. We were treated to a delicious fish dish by the chef, which was excellent — light and crispy breading with tender, mild fish inside, a lovely treat that we will definitely return for. My understanding is that the restaurant has new owners and recently reopened, and it appears they did an interior renovation — the re is bright, spacious, spotless, and welcoming. One orders at the counter, but the staff and chef were also really attentive at the table, coming around to clear dishes and check on us — very conscientious and caring. Really great place! We’re so happy we stopped in, and we will be back!“
