“Been a while since we went to Axton’s, but my wife and I will be celebrating 30 years this week, we thought we’d start with a fine dinner WTH Chef Anton. Early on a Sunday during the summer was far from their busy time, so we had a chance to chat. For starters, we shared an apple mango salad. Shame on me for not reading the menu. The dressing is apple mango. Home made! I was looking for mango in the salad. Apple, craisins, two kinds of cheese…. Perfect for a hot July day. My wife ordered the shrimp marinara over spinach instead of pasta. Delicious and even more impressive was that the shrimp had their tails removed. A great touch. The piece de resistance was my scallop special. Scallops topped with Crabcake coating topped with bacon. Served over a bed of spinach with cherry tomatoes and more. My wife called it spectacular. I thought it was a taste of heaven. Couldn’t figure out one taste in the sauce. Originally thought mango, but there was none in the salad. Had to ask if it was peach? Mango was the winner. The dish was a bigger winner!“

“I was excited to get warm with soup after Pompton Lakes’ Holiday Stroll. I got the Hot Lemongrass Beef Pho. This is hands down the best pho I’ve had since leaving California. Boiling Pho is legit!! The noodles were chewy and not soggy. The beef brisket was so tender. The sliced beef was fresh. The broth was immaculate on a cold night and super flavorful. Nothing beats a good bowl of pho. I can’t wait to include this place in my weeknight dinner rotation! Thank you for the great food, atmosphere, and service!!“

“Business lunch. Lobster salad was waterlogged lobster, tasteless and probably previously frozen. Last time I was there I had sliced ribeye steak sandwich. Totally dried out but was great the fist time I had it there. Disappointing and inconsistent. Not what you want when bringing clients.“

“Don Pepe never disappoints! Their food is absolutely amazing, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and service you receive. I ordered a calamari to go, and the bartender (a super friendly guy) was fantastic. He was incredibly nice and even threw in a huge piece of bread—easily 10 inches long! Definitely enough for leftovers, which was a nice surprise. The little details like this make the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back!“

“We are in the part of the restaurant called “the library,” which was a small room off to the left. Thankfully it wasn't busy or it could have been a bit tight. But the food was out of this world. Again! Although the creamed spinach seemed to have a funny taste, which was immediately replaced with another side when I said something. Service was good, but drinks were a little slow from the bar. The prix fixe of $55 was an amazing value. We both had the chicken breast and it was fantastic.“

“Krios is one of our go-to spots for dinner in Bloomingdale. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere feels warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening out. While I’d love to see a few more traditional Greek dishes on the menu given the name, everything we’ve tried has been excellent. The Brussels sprouts and sesame feta are absolute must-haves. Pass on the lemon potatoes, though.“

“I'm here visiting a friend and decided to stop here for lunch. This place was phenomenal. The service was great and the food was delicious. Sorry I font have a Pic of my wings, I couldn't wait to dig in. They had the right amount of sauce, were nice and hot, meaty and juicy. The pretzel was good too. Not sure what one of those sauces was but I didnt like it, the mustard was good though. Now these potstickers....OMG. you have got to try them, they were flavorful and the Thai chili sauce was perfect. I was afraid it was going to have some spice to it, too old for that kinda heartburn(lol), but it wasn't spicy it was just good. So if you're in the neighborhood stop by and have some great food...think I'll have dinner here tomorrow.“

“Food was incredible, server was SO thoughtful and quick, food came out of the kitchen fast and hot. Ordered the 6oz wood-fired filet with mashed potatoes and broccolini, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Their desserts are small and adorable, the perfect amount of food.

Seriously give this place a try! Went for my birthday dinner and will be back SO SOON! They had a little birthday sign on the table, the server brought out a little champagne for a birthday toast (and a flute with ginger ale for me), and the dessert came out on a Happy Birthday plate with a candle. “I have had two bridal showers at Portofino in Oak Ridge, and not only did everyone love the food, but Nancy and the entire staff is outstanding. They go above and beyond to help you in any capacity that they can. I highly recommend Portofino either for lunch, dinner or any kind of event you have whether it is big or small. You can't go wrong with Portofino, I can't say enough great things about the staff and restaurant!“

“Was looking for a good authentic Chinese food in this part of Jersey, and this place clearly delivered. Incredible minced beef soup to start. Then had the fried rice, braised duck with mixed vegetables, and pan-fried flounder. Delicious. The service was good and attentive, though quite pricey, especially the duck ( $38), and there wasn't much meat, just more vegetables. But the flounder was worth it, $32.95.“

“My family and I come here all the time for large family gatherings. The food is absolutely phenomenal here, especially the pecking duck buns and sweet and sour pork. We also love the soy sea bass, crispy chicken, ginger scallion lobster, pork chops and corn egg drop soup. One time we brought them king crab legs to cook and they cooked all of our king crab legs to perfection!! I don’t usually write google reviews but this place is so special to me and my family and adore this spot. The service is so fast and attentive and they are kind enough to provide free dessert whether that be fresh oranges, fresh fruit or even sometimes sweet red bean soup! Please consider coming here and supporting them! They’re so deserving, hardworking and kind!!“
