“We found this spot last minute because the pizza place we were headed to had a 30+ minute wait- and I’m so glad they did because the food was fabulous. I’ve lived in the area for over 40 years and go to the same places that have become Jersey shore institutions when we get the thin crust pizza craving but La Lupa rates above them all. We ordered the mussels marinara, chicken and margarita pizza, garlic knots that were the size of my hand and even dessert! Just wow. The staff and possibly owner were super welcoming, friendly and we just could not get over how attentive they were. He made the marinara extra spicy for me for my mussels and the sauce even challenged my Nona’s (sorry Nona). The thin crust pizza was wonderful. Just the right amount of toppings, great sauce and wonderful dough/crust. We loved the food so much we asked if they deliver to ensure this becomes are go to pizza delivery from now on! The only reason they got 4 stars for atmosphere is because it’s a small little place with minimal tables as it’s a pizza place from a venue perspective with restaurant menu that I can’t wait to continue to try!“

“They charge you on soda refills which was $3.50 a pop. It should be noted they charge for refills. I didn't see any notation on the menu. I may have missed it, but next time I'll order only one. It is BYOB place. I wonder if I can bring a soda??“
“I actually found out about this place while visiting a friend in Neptune. Since then this place is slowly becoming one of my favorite spots.Their garlic knots are outstanding and are the style I love (updated to k clude a pic). Every calzone/Stromboli I have ordered so far has also been outstanding (updated to include pics of Buffalo chicken and Sicilian "regular" sized Stromboli). Pizza overall has been pretty great but I haven't tried a lot bunch other than plain or with 1, maybe 2 toppings.I am impressed so far with how many items have been great, and the consistency of how great the food is regardless of the day of week/time of day. “We brought our family there who were visiting for the weekend, 10 adults and 2 babies. Sean answered our call when we asked if they could accommodate us all and he then greeted us when we got there. He was very welcoming and nice, Our service was great. I did not catch our waitresses name but she is a younger girl and was amazing. She was beyond friendly and attentive. We all got different foods. The special, butternut squash soup was a huge hit at our table. Everyone loved their dinner as well ( chicken franchise, lasagna, short ribs to name a few) and my leftovers were just as good the next day. We certainly plan to go back. For the entrees, we had the halibut and also the daily special, which was a red snapper. All entrees came with side dishes, but we also got a side of crimini mushrooms which were very tasty. “We came here on a Saturday night with a reservation for a group of 6. You enter through the pizza shop to get to the dining room and were promptly seated. Our server was excellent! She was very polite, friendly, did not mind repeating herself and was very patient with the elderly members of our group. The food was delicious, the portions were huge and everyone enjoyed their selection. Found a new gem with great prices plus BYOB. Only downside is the dining room gets a little loud.
