“I was happy to discover KOKO LOKO when searching for an alternative to the downtown cafés in New Brunswick. The pistachio latte is delicious- it’s smooth but still flavorful and has crushed pistachios mixed in. And for a good-sized latte with plant milk, the price was affordable. I loved chatting with the barista, too. The place has a laid-back and quiet but still creative vibe, plenty of outlets and plants! It would be great to linger and write or craft there on a cooler day.“

The service was prompt, the staff was super friendly, and the decor is absolutely beautiful; it feels like stepping into another world. We shared the calamari to start, then she had the lamb adana (which she devoured!), and I had the chicken adana, which I loved. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We ended with kanzimbidi, and she swore it tasted like Dubai chocolate! She’s already asking to go back,maybe for Mother’s Day. Highly recommend!“

“A solid 4 but this visit she missed part of my drink and seemed half asleep and she was alone at least up front. Last time my drink was perfect this time it wasn’t however no worries she gave me the missed item and I offered to add it myself. Very clean store and restroom. Nice staff and lots of references to Rutgers. Nice area to walk around
