“We had a good time. Service was good very courteous. The bangara baingan was delicious. This was our first visit to the restaurant. They were very accommodating and adjusted the spice level to our needs. Nidhi Saini was on top of everything from service to food.“
“That’s a great place to go. Everything is just great. My family is very peculiar and everyone likes a different type of food but here at A2B everyone is happy. Food is excellent and service is amazing. The best is to be taken care by Shasny. In summery go there and enjoy really great food.“
“This is the place if you are looking for South Indian food!! Paper dosa,Pongal combo thali, chola bhatura(huge one) ,lassi, butter milk, filter coffee, all were absolutely authentic and exactly what we wanted!! Don't miss it if you are craving for any kind of dosa or anything of South Indian cuisine!!“
“The samosas are big, flavorful, and not oily as some tend to be. Pindi chole is too tomatoey for my taste and tawa roti is small. You need an extra order of whatever bread because they all seem to be small in size. Would recommend the aloo masala kati roll. Plenty of vegan options (ask as well).“
“I am one to post reviews usually, and even if I do, its when I was truly disappointed with a product/service. With that out of the way, let me share my experience with Chatpati Delhi.I was visiting my cousins in NJ for the first time and as most Indians wanted to relish some good Indian food as the first thing in the city. My cousin suggested Chatpati Delhi and who can resist chaat, so we went there. We ordered pretty much all the usual suspects - pav bhaji, Vada pav, paneer tikka, Pani puri, khasta kachori. Now I count myself as a through and through foodie so I don't get satisfied easily. And the expectations were all the more high because we don't get good chaat in Austin, TX (where I live). To my utter surprise Chatpati Delhi not only not disappoint, they actually exceeded my expectations and that of my family. My wife and I couldn't stop expressing our gratitude for the delicious, and flavorful food we were getting to enjoy. The paneer tikka was especially soft, and masaledaar. The pav bhaji was way better than some of the best pav bhaji I had in India.Even better than the food was the exceptional service. Abhijeet from the restaurant was super warm and welcoming; made us feel very special and like family.I am stepping out to pick up some more of the amazing chaat from Chatpati Delhi before we head to the airport. If you're reading this please do yourself a huge favor and treat yourself to some exceptional chaat!“
“The ambience of this place is superior to most Indian restaurants in the area, however, finding a reservation in the dining side can be a bit challenging, if not in advance. The Indian food is nontraditional with a twist to staple Indian cuisines. There’s a platter of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Some unique options include their stuffed mirchi Bhajji and their jackfruit biryani.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options and main entry to choose from. The location is probably better for its ambience on the food however, the menu will not disappoint.“
“We had a great time eating. Food was delicious. Every dish is a delight. Ambience is welcoming. The hostess Priya was friendly and accomplished in many ways. Spoke many languages as an added bonus. I will go there again. The other gentleman was knowledgeable and accommodating. It was a truly great pleasure being served at Vasanth Bhavan.Vegetarian options: Curry rices were nice“
“The food is always excellent, authentic and delicious. It's perfect spice level and taste is excellent.Their seekh kababs are awesome.Owner is very nice and polite. They always give some complementary sweet dish with the order which is really great. one of the Best Pakistani Restaurant in New Jersey.I will highly recommend this place.A delightful experience every time!“
“Went for lunch to try this place as they do specialize in marathi food.Sevice was fast and really good and fast. We did have a chance to talk to the owners as well and they are very friendly people. The interiors are also really good.Chaas- 5/5( loved it )Vada pav-4/5( felt like the vada was refried but taste was good)Rava fried prawns- 4/5( prawns felts a little undercooked for my taste)Tandoori promfret - 5/5( fish was juicy and good)Jeera rice-5/5Garlic rice-5/5Dal kanda- 3/5(was spicy for me and as well the garam masala taste was overpowering)Chicken xacuti- 4/5( chicken felt little undercooked otherwise was close to a xacuti curry)“
“I recently had to pleasure of dining in eggholic and it was an absolute delight for my taste buds! This cozy little gem specializes in serving delectable egg-based dishes, including the mouthwatering egg paplet and Italian masala half fry. I also had mango mastani and it was fabulous in tasteOverall, my experience at Eggholic was nothing short of exceptional. If you're a fan of egg-based dishes and crave a culinary adventure that will tantalize your taste buds, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Eggholic . You won't be disappointed!“
“This place is off the charts … the food is fresh, flavorful and authentic …I think this was one of our most satisfying Punjabi food experiences ever … highly recommend the angaaara chicken kebabs … for dessert the moong daaal halwaaa is out of the world .. the ambience and the service is just top class and the owners truly care …. Can’t wait to visit again …“
“Great place for fine Indian cousine. Cocktails are amazing. Food is delicious. Rodrigo, Dennis, Victor, and our favorite Govind provides excellent customer service. We love coming here for private events, family dinners and couples night out.“
“Went here with a group of 5 for the first time as we were craving Gujarati/kathiyawadi food and it did not disappoint. The service is excellent and the food tastes amazing. They offer three types of unlimited thalis - Gujarati, kathiyawadi and Punjabi. Have the Gujrati of you are craving your dishes to be a little on the sweet side like me and the kathiyawadi if not. I would not suggest the Punjabi thali as this is a Gujrati place and that is their forte.Vegetarian options: This is a fully vegetarian restaurant.Parking: This is in a strip mall with a free parking lotKid-friendliness: Indian restaurants are always kid friendly.“
“I am here on a weekly basis for the most part and I have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is always super helpful and friendly. I can’t find a lighter to light the candle, but thank you so much for the birthday brownie. You guys are awesome.“
“HEY - NOW THEY OFFER LUNCH-BUFFET! We were pleasantly surprised when we found that they offer lunch buffets on Wed and Thu, and unlike some other buffet places their buffet food does not taste anything like mass produced. Great spread also! And because we were a big group who had made advanced reservations, they even catered to our dietary restrictions and preferences. Everything about this place is amazing, the food quality, the service (very courteous staff) and the ambience! I highly recommend trying their buffet that definitely is Mahrashtrian/Konkani/Malvani. delicious ‘खेकडा’ भजी, fried सुरमई …list goes on and on. Good for big group (we were 21 of us) for sure as we had a great time.“
“Delicious food and great atmosphere. This could easily be called a great upscale dining place in a small space. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. But most of all, all the dishes we have tried here have been super delicious so far. Of course their tandoori food is great. Must try!“
“Its a hidden gem on busy oak tree road, the ambience of this place tells it all, this is the most exotic party place in New Jersey, we did my daughter's sweet sixteen here, the food, service, cleanliness, staff, ambience, everything was beyond expectations, I would recommend 100%, Raj is the best.“
“This is undoubtedly the #1 desi ( Indian + Pakistani+ Bangladeshi ) food place in NJ -- hands down. None of the super-hyped places like Mughal etc. come anywhere close, We ordered party trays of Lamb Bhuna and Bihari Chicken Kabab yesterday -- it was amazing -- out of the world.“
“It is so amazing to be back here again. I have been to so many places in Vegas, Texas and California. I can honestly say, this is one of the best places to relish Indian cuisine in NJ.In addition new Menu, the Ambience, Food Quality, Robots at service and bar just make the mare go. I can come here any-day and be sure of best quality, freshness and cuisine in town. Also Usha ji just attends to every guest as if he/she is family member. There is no need to think of 2nd option if you are in this area and have Indian taste buds x All are good reasons to go again.“
“Lets Start Here..... The website has an issue, The menu has the wrong days they are open, and the prices are different. But those are small things and I would just suggest giving them a call to make sure they are open. Ambiance of his place is what you would expect. You are not going there for a 5 star luxury experience. This is a local family owned Indian spot with great food. It is very clean but it is not going to be on the cover of Restaurant Interiors anytime soon. Service was great. The gentleman apologized for the information being incorrect, was very polite and my food was ready on time. Now the Food. As my cohorts opened their containers every dish looked correct. Not too creamy, just enough Ghee floating on top. The consistency of each meal was what you would expect. Flavor was excellent, rice was fresh, we couldn't have asked for anything more. This will become our new Indian lunch spot moving forward.“
“I just love their food! They really set a great atmosphere as they serve us with great food and great hospitality. Some of my favorite dishes are Hakka Noodles, Momos, Lamb Chop, Salmon Tikka, Masala Fries, Paneer Tikka Sizzler, Kesar Pista Kulfi, and Gajjar Halwa.“
“Food is always top notch here. My usual go to is the goat biryani medium spicy, which is the perfect level of heat. Hot but not flaming. If you’re lucky, you’ll also get a bit of marrow which, if you’re like me, you’ll love.Their chicken biryani (boneless and bone in varieties) and hariyali kebabs are also great. Get the chicken 65 for a good starter and wash it all down with a mango lassi!“
“As a connoisseur of fine cuisine, I had the pleasure of experiencing the culinary delights offered by Dalhouse Princeton Catering, and I must say, it was an unforgettable gastronomic experience. From the moment I arrived at the event, the aroma of freshly prepared dishes tantalized my senses, promising a feast for both the palate and the soul. The presentation of the food was impeccable, with each dish meticulously arranged to appeal to both the eye and the appetite.“
“Best kathiyavadi thaali. I dont think I’ve had a better kathiyavadi thaali before. This is my go to spot for some really good kathiyavadi vegetarian food. Unlimited refills and the garlic chutny on the side is so so good. They also replace bajara no rotlo with rotli if you ask them. Bengan bharthu and sev tomato is my all time favorite!! There are some places you have to go every so often, and for me this is it!! If you like kathiyavadi food, you must go here!! Service is A+“
“Very tasty Dosa and other items. All the items we ordered were very tasty. The staff are very friendly and all the food is freshly prepared. The price is very reasonable and service is very fast. Highly recommended. It is great to see that they open at 8:00 a.m.“
“The food is really good, well portioned, and fairly priced.I ordered:1. Vegetable Samosas. They are very large in size, but they are very tasty and served with mint chutney. The chutney is fresh w/ a hint of spice.2. Lamb Gyro.Very tender and flavorful. I would definitely order again.3. Vegetable Kachalou. The potato filling is delicious. My complaints are that the outer part of the deep fried shell was a bit overcooked and that it is deep fried.4. Falafel, although deep fried, is light and fresh. Has a very nice flavor.Pros:1. They have no problem giving you extra sauces on the side, and they are delicious.2. Good portions and fair prices.3. Nice selection of desserts4. I am looking forward to trying more of their food.“
“Masala Bay is a fast casual dining offering a blend of Indian and Middle Eastern-inspired bowls and burritos (wrapped in naan bread). Its unique naan variations paired with spicy spreads create an intriguing experience.Vegetarian options: Has a whole bunch of Naan Options, Falafel and Samosa chaat“
“Probably the best Goat and lamb curry dishes in the area. Love the sizzling BBQ grilled dishes also. All dishes have lots of flavor with their own specialty spices. For the most part it's not crowded, only on weekends during evening hours. Seemed like I got slightly more food when I did takeout vs dining in. Food is piping hot even after bringing it home. I still prefer to dine in. Fast service and prices are good.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are OK. This restaurant specializes in the majority of non-vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: Brought both my kids, they enjoyed it. I've seen many kids there, friendly environment.“
“Clean and comfortable restaurant. Srava the waitress will take the time to explain the menu. He is kind. The food is authentic. I recommend the tilapia dish. It is spice, rich and healthy. 100 stats to this restaurantKid-friendliness: Srava is very friendly“
“I’d give 10 starts if I could. This is the best hole in the wall type of restaurant. Quick service, affordable price, and THE BEST food in Edison! I moved out of NJ, but every time I’m in NJ, I eat here over any other fancy restaurants. Highly recommend this place!“
“Santosh was our server - the food was amazing and the service reminded me so much of my childhood memories- wonderful food and typical south hospitality from south India - if you like spicy food , I would truly recommend Nalan! Thank you Nalan for awesome food!Vegetarian options: Liked the choice of jackfruit biriyani and kurmaKid-friendliness: Kids had choices to try out“
“Nice place for indian food Good veg & non veg options great sea food the food tasted amazing good flavor for all the dishes ordered. They are able to provide the spice level as you desire for all the dishes .The service was good and price are reasonable. Decent ambience & great food variety .overall a nice place to visit with family & friends .“
“Great place for Desi food. You get your order pretty quickly and everything tastes great. The selection of mithai (sweets) is also quite expansive and they are amazing, especially the Goolab Jaman. Get it with some chai, it hits the spot. I do think they could improve the interior of the restaurant though as I felt the lighting was a bit raggedy/dull and the floors looked dirty and needed some cleaning.“
“Our very first time visiting Mughal. Valentine was great! He was extremely attentive to us and we enjoyed our family dinner. The food was great but most importantly Valentine made our day special by taking care of all the details. All in all wonderful experience.“
“We had a party in our backyard which included around 80 guests. Rottu kadai has a very good variety of dosas and each one of them tastes amazing. All our guests throughly enjoyed the experience of live dosa and the food. Kids especially had a lot of fun watching the making of and pizza and ice cream dosas and eating them. They went above and beyond in getting dosas ready very quickly. On top of dosas, their chutney, Sambar, idly and variety rices were delicious. We had a wonderful experience with Arun and his team!! It was a HUGE HIT!!! I highly recommend him for your next party!!“
“Masa restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience with their top-notch food quality. From the moment you take your first bite, you can taste the commitment to freshness and flavor. Each dish is a culinary masterpiece, prepared with precision and care. The diverse menu offers a wide range of options, ensuring there's something for every palate. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Shalimar's food quality will leave you coming back for more.“
“If you love Indian street food, this is the place to be. It has various sub- shops serving dosas, manchurian, gol gappas, jalebis, paranthas, moms and meetha paan at a resonable price. I am happy that I do not live there, otherwise I would be visiting it on a daily basis.“
“Amazing sumptuous South Indian dishes. We were 2 families here for dinner and this is one of the best in the recent exploration of chettinad flavors. Vinesh helped us get the right level of Xtra spice and courteous in enquiring anything that could be improved. Overall great choice for an evening meal. I hear their weekend banana leaf meals is one to look forward to. Will come back sometime.“
“Delicious twist on fusion food, with standout dishes like the tangy Manchurian. The atmosphere is casual yet inviting, perfect for a laid-back meal. Quick service and generous portions make it a hit. Definitely worth a visit for a taste of something uniquely flavorful!“
“House of Biryani and Kebabs serves authentic flavors with a modern twist. Each dish bursts with aromatic spices, and the kebabs are tender and flavorful. A definite go-to for anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine! Ambience is not so great.“
“Quality of Dosas and Idlis is good. However, masala was not properly cooked in Dosa and Sambhar had less salt than usual.Filter coffee and chai are good as well but can be better for sure. The dish that we liked best is Bhajji, definitely a must try for anyone new to this place. Also, the place is big enough to accommodate large groups of 6, 8, or even 10 people at once“
“Really great restaurant with an awesome variety of 100% Vegetarian Thalis. I highly recommend their Kesar Special Thali along with their Papdi Chaat Thali! They let you share plates and honestly 1 thali with saabzis would suffice 2 people, you may just have to order another separate Naan. Their special saabzi of the day was amazing, the rest of the saabzis varied from 'generic to alright'. Surprisingly, their ambiance is very upscale for a restaurant that is known for their Thalis. Highly recommend bringing the whole family and the service was super quick!“
“The food was very fresh and tasty! Good portion sizes too. I got the chicken tikka with butter sauce platter and it was amazing a little spicy but just enough to be flavorful. I also tried the dessert item they offered and it was my favorite part it was still warm when they brought it out.“
“If you're yearning for authentic Kerala/Malabar cuisine, this place is a must-visit. We indulged in their buffet, which boasted a scrumptious spread of 57 items, showcasing the essence of Kerala cuisine. From chicken, duck, and goat to mussels, fish, and eggs, the non-vegetarian options were plentiful, while the vegetarian dishes were equally extravagant. Although priced at $25, the buffet's quality, variety, and flavors make it worth every penny. However, be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends, as this cozy space fills up quickly. Reservations aren't accepted, and seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, they ask patrons to wrap up their meal within 40 minutes to accommodate waiting guests.“
“Very good combination South indian and North indian food in buffet..I really enjoyed food bcoz it was fresh and light..Sweets were also very delicious.Loved fresh crisp dosa..Mango puree was amazing.Beetroot halwa was nice. The servers were friendly, humble, and polite.“
“Chopsticks never disappoints. The food amazing and the closest to the Indo Chinese taste we were used to India. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and prices are competitive. What more could you ask for?!!Chilli Chicken is my favorite and highly recommended.“
“No frills, amazing food and service at reasonable price. This is our go to place whenever we are craving for south Indian food especially dosas, uttapam, idly and vada. It's located off the Oak tree road and have a large parking lot in front of the restaurant. I recently went on Sunday afternoon and was able to grab a table right away. We ordered myysore masala, mint, gongura and Rava Dosa, filter coffee and buttermilk. Sambhar is self-serve and unlimited kept in a hotpot so it's always warm. Everything came out quickly and was really tasty and satisfying.“
“This place has a new management and everything is so good and hygienic. I like it. We found a Soya Malai Chap on the menu. It was an amazing mouth-watering ??. It's so good. My kids order chicken 65. She said it was so good and crispy:):). The service is so quick and nice. No need to wait. Thank you. It was an amazing experience. Yes I definitely going back to SpiceClub.“
“We were craving Indian food and googled restaurants near us. We were NOT disappointed when stumbled upon this little gem. We were treated so Nicely and the food was amazing! We will absolutely come back. Please go… support this restaurant. It was very quiet for them the night we were there. They deserve to be busier. Such nice people and such great food!(They even brought out complimentary cold appetizer and dessert) above and beyond ❤️ support local small businesses“
“Thank you, Niraj! Had an AWESOME late night dinner at your restaurant! The Kati rolls are OUTSTANDING and the garlic naam totally rocked! Great service, out-of-this world food, and just an overall top-shelf experience. Nothing in Pittsburgh compares to your place! Highly recommended!“
