“The food here is so good! The staff is very nice, you can order inside or use their digital kiosks outside. There is only outdoor seating but it’s perfect for the summer. The hummus is some of the best I have ever had, and the mint lemonade was delicious! They have vegetarian options and bowls you can alter to be gluten free. Come here!“

“The five stars for the hummus, -absolutely incredible. We also got a swarms lamb wrap and a chicken wrap which were delicious and unique with slices of pickle.

Smear some humus on that wrap- forget about it.

“Lebanese food served in small plates. Really enjoyed the options they had. The labne plate and pita bread is so fresh and delicious. The batata was crispy and excellent. The rice dish flavor was good it’s just we had some very hard pieces of rice mixed in- not sure if it was because of being reheated too much or being a little stale.“

Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. “I’ve been going to the Tripoli since I was a child (1975, so I was 2 years old). At first, the draw was their authentic pastries (their Birds Nests are TOP NOTCH!!!). To this day, I love their traditional Lebanese cuisine (their humus, babaghanouj and tabouli are AMAZING as is their shish-kabob and chicken shishtaouk). If ever you find yourself on the border between Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill Brooklyn (NYC), I can’t recommend them enough!!!“

“We ordered for the first time tonight from Sammy, former proprietor of JuJu’s Bagels now transformed into El Toum. We ordered 4 items and they were ready for pickup in less than 25 minutes. The Mixed Kebab platter, Kofta Burger with fries, Falafel Sandwich with extra tahini sauce, and El Toum Appetizer were refreshingly homemade, tasted delicious, and proved outstanding bangs for the buck. More than enough food for a family of four with leftovers. This is a very welcome addition to a neighborhood missing this kind of fare. I highly recommend supporting this local business. “Had an excellent experience at Proof & Prov in Englewood. If you’re a pizza person, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Their Detroit-style pizza is seriously impressive—the crust has that perfect combination of a crispy, cheesy edge with a light and airy interior. It’s not the heavy, overly greasy square pizza you might expect.

I also love that they put a creative spin on their menu while still keeping the classics strong. From the traditional pepperoni to more adventurous combinations, there’s a lot here for both the classic pizza lover and someone who wants to try something different. The quality of the ingredients really comes through.

The retro-inspired space is clean, cool, and has a great neighborhood feel. You can tell this isn’t just another pizza shop—they’ve put real thought into the concept and the details.

The owner was also incredibly welcoming, and it’s clear they take a lot of pride in what they’re creating. That kind of passion makes a difference.

Proof & Prov is definitely one of the more interesting pizza spots in Englewood, especially if you want to try Detroit-style pizza done right. Great crust, creative pies, quality ingredients, and a really cool atmosphere“

“This is a great restaurant. It's casual but the food is very high quality and delicious! My son had the Lava Chicken Shawarma Arabic and I had the Vegan Arabic Sandwich. We got the combo for each (with fries and a drink) and the total price was $40. The vegan sandwich was amazing - lots of vegetables and falafel - all seasoned wonderfully. I think it is the best vegan sandwich I ever had. The chicken shawarma was great too - and plated up beautifully. The restaurant's atmosphere is serene and relaxing. A++.“

Remember when it used to be a fried chicken spot? The new place has not been lost in terms of service and comfort food. Trust me. There's still a lot of fried tasty foods for those nights when you want to stay in with a movie and appetizers.

They have platters for dinner nights or lunch dates.

I'm making this review because a lot of people ask me about this place. They're mainly skeptical to go in because it's still a friend chicken spot in their hearts but they're always curious to know how good the food from their new menu.

“During my business trip to NY we had a team lunch outing to Naya. We walked through the bustling streets to make our way to Naya. The line was out the door. First sign of good food. People waited their turn patiently to reach the middle eastern cuisine counter. There were plenty of options to choose from. I chose the Chicken Shawarma bowl. I loaded it with my favorite toppings and made my way down the line. Even though there was a long line where our team started outside the door, the staff moved very efficiently to take and prepare orders. No need to worry about long delays in line. We took our lunch back to the office because there is no seating available at Naya. The food was delicious and very flavorful. I lived in Abu Dhabi for 14 years and to be in the USA and find a place to refresh my memory of all the food I enjoyed while living in the Middle East, I was extremely grateful. I highly recommend going to grad a meal from Naya.“

“I had the bowl with rice, cauliflower as protein, everything for toppings and the spicy red sauce. This vegetarian bowl is so delicious. I didn’t even miss the meat. The vermicelli rice is cooked well and flavored, not too soft or mushy. This location has a few seatings and is close to Central Park.“
