“Is there anything as comforting on a cold night as slurping thin rice noodles from a rich, deep, stewed-for-hours broth? Others might disagree, but it was what my taste buds were screaming for on a recent blustering cold night. My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant, and the short version of this review is that we not only satisfied my cravings, but I think we've found our favorite Vietnamese spot in the area.

I was bemused by the way they display comically oversized versions of their menu at every table. What I initially considered to be somewhat gimmicky turned out to be quite convenient since everyone at the table was simultaneously viewing the same menu while discussing ordering options.

I love how quickly the food gets to your table at Vietnamese restaurants, and Pho Saigon is no exception. Our crispy spring rolls arrived mere minutes after ordering, and they were everything I'd want from a good fried appetizer - meaty, flavorful, and hot enough to do some of those open-mouthed dragon breaths after your first bite. My beef pho was also fantastic, with the broth perfectly redolent of all the spices that imparted their flavors. But I was most impressed with my husband's chicken vermicelli bowl. The meat was beautifully seasoned and, once mixed with the supplied sauce, made for a light and refreshing meal. It'll definitely be my next order when I'm here (and, if it weren't already clear enough, I'm most certainly going be back for more).

Service is polite and blazingly efficient. If you're in the area and cursed with the craving for solid Vietnamese food, don't miss this restaurant.“

Price is still amazing for lunch deals around $8~$12, portions are generous, and ultimately foods are great.

“This is how chicharrones are supposed to be made! The crispiest, juiciest and most flavor packed I’ve had from a restaurant frankly ever! It’s quick and (not) dirty, you come in eye the golden crispy piece of pig meat and watch them weight it and hack it up, so satisfying. They have a few side options, I went with the arroz moro (which is a black rice cooked with black beans together) and say yes to the gravy. Make sure you eat it quick so the chicharrones don’t soften, mine lasted a brief car ride home (~15 min) but I couldn’t help taking a few sneak bites in the car. Get you some of the sautéed onions with them, delicious.“

“I highly recommend visiting this Chinese restaurant. One of my favorite local spots for their delicious food, great portions of food and prices are affordable. I ordered a happy family which came with white rice, shrimp and broccoli that came with egg roll and pork fried rice and general tso with lo mein.

The staff are also quick to notice you and respond to any requests (like if you want almond milk or they're out of something). Iced coffee isn't all weak and watery either. It's great!“

The lighting was perfect as it was dark enough to feel intimate, but also bright enough to see your food and the person across from you. “When I want to go outside or I'm working and need to eat I always try to come here if there is no food at home. This place is amazing.

The food is just delicious, for all the plates I ate here never had this "okay" food it is always tasty and yummy. And the price is another plus, 10$ for a lunch meal, 1 entrance (mostlikely soup) 2nd (usually rice with either chicken or pork) and a cup of drink. (Not soda).

And even when buying other than "special lunch" it is quite heavenly.

Conclusion, it is a great place, amazing good, great service. Now, the only bad thing is the parking, if u eating in the morning I guess there is parking at papays since it is pretty close, but in the afternoon, quite dificult, since it is not recommended to park on popeyes.

“The Parrot Restaurant in Yonkers is one of the best Spanish restaurants in the area. They offer amazing family meals at unbelievable prices. Unlike others, their food is incredibly fresh. For example, even the white rice tastes like it was made the same day. The beans are very well-seasoned, and when you order the bean stew, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find carrots and potatoes—ingredients often overlooked at many Spanish restaurants.

Their empanadas are made to order, meaning they don't sit under a heat lamp; they are freshly prepared when you order them. The freshness and quality of their food are truly unmatched. Additionally, the variety of dishes they offer ensures that there is something for everyone, whether you are a meat lover or a vegetarian.

All in all, this is definitely a go-to spot for good quality food at great prices. Last but not least, the staff is wonderful, including the guys who do the deliveries. They are always friendly, prompt, and ensure that your food arrives hot and fresh.
