“My friend Cristina, who had been raving about this place for a long time, treated us to my husband’s birthday brunch here, and she was not wrong. What a gem! “My wife and I stopped by without knowing much about it. What a great experience! The pasties, sweet and savory, are superb. We both had macha, which was expertly made. The space is clean and welcoming with great music playing and the staff was obviously proud of their work, attentive and patient. I highly recommend!“

“Wonderful peaceful atmosphere. Comfy seating with nooks to plug in and work. Locally authored books in the shelves. The chai has a perfect balance of herbs and spices and is not too sweet. Also had an amazing empanada and a freshly baked-on-premises cookie. Love the local focus of this cafe. Will come back again to try the fresh leaf teas and the other empanadas.“

“It was my first visit, and I had Bulgogi Bliss, Shrimp Crunch, and an iced latte. Everything was delicious! The store had a lovely ambiance as well. I would definitely go back and recommend it to my friends and family. It’s definitely a must-try in Hoboken!“

“Are you kidding me? I've been dying to come here since it opened so very long ago and FINALLY all the stars aligned (i.e., I actually remembered when it was not a Monday!) and I picked up soup for lunch today. HOW HAVE I WAITED SO LONG. The mulligatawny soup was incredible. It's such a cute place and the owner and staff were so friendly! I can't wait to eat in - and try the jerk chicken sandwich!!!! Thank you for my fantastic lunch today! We definitely will not forget about this place moving forward - soup season is my FAVORITE season! - we will be back! :)“

“I visit Sweet Jeans more than once per day when I am working - it really is the BEST cafe I've ever been to. Every single staff member is welcoming, friendly, and treats you like family from your very first visit. The coffee, sandwiches and pastries are literally incredible.
I find myself wishing I was at Sweet Jean's whenever I'm not in Newark.. there's nothing else quite like it!“

“Looooved the atmosphere at this cute Puerto Rican owned cafe. The coquito latte?! AMAZING. My friend got the avocado toast and I got the breakfast sandwich on Mexican bread. 9/10! The only downfall was that people were comfortably seated and no one was really policing the tables, but my friend and I finally got a seat and were able to enjoy the experience a little better.“

“If you love great food and drink and friendly atmosphere this is you're place. I travel 28 miles to come here. It's my home sweet home. I don't go anywhere else from the comfortable seating and the nicely cooled lounge and a place outside if you're a smoker. Wide assortment of coffees and teas and adults beverages. Come on down they are open everyday except Tuesday THE FOOD IS SUPERB.....“

“Love this place, looks like it was lifted from Brooklyn and placed in this corner. It’s cozy and very eclectic, uniquely furnished, has a bunch of tiny unique items scattered through the space for sale, like candles, flower vases, other small decorative item. More importantly they have a menu with a variety of beverages and pastries and I believe sandwiches (not quite sure if I saw sandwiches on the menu but definitely a variety of pastries). This is going to be my new goto spot“

“What a great place! Passed by here once and our daughter’s name is Madison so I thought it would be fun to try out. Made a reservation for Mother’s Day, probably not the best day to try a new place. We showed up for our 12:15 reservations and despite the mob scene outside, our table was waiting. The food and service were spectacular on a busy day. I can’t wait to come back on a normal day. I had the cauliflower tacos. Amazing, as good as they look in the picture. Wife and daughter had omelettes with salad and potatoes. Neither could finish! Not sure if I can post photos“

“dirty place....the chef uses his bare hands to prepare and cook meals then denied multiple customers for food requests like 8pm like 🤦♀️..... they never clean while cooking or preparing instead they wait to clean up at 8pm ....gross only meal I was able to eat was a kibob salad because there meat is disgusting 😑“

I come here every so often when I'm around about twice a year and they are consistently really nice people, and the coffee is just delicious. “We absolutely love the Kurly Kurdish shop. I had a Kurly kone with cherry vanilla ice cream. This is the best sweet treat. I recommend everyone stop in and try one!“
