“I absolutely love Rumba Cubana! This location is perfect also. The restaurant is situated next to a park in the downtown area of Jersey City. The staff are kind and professional, great service. I’ve dined in/outside and ordered delivery once. Ordering delivery was definitely a huge disappointment. I ordered the Tropical Salad with grilled Salmon but the piece of salmon was so tiny. Dining in, they are usually generous with the proteins added. I feel like this was a very upsetting experience. Overall, it’s definitely my go-to place. The Papa Rellenas are delicious, the frozen lemonade is a must and you cannot leave without ordering some of the guava and cheese empanadas!“

“I recommend it to you. My favorite is the churrasco and a glass of Portuguese wine. There is a variety. To spend a pleasant time with family or as a couple. “My first time coming here and I must say, the food and service I was given was impeccable. Dining outside was rather comfortable despite the cold weather and the waiters I had were amazing. Being outside the atmosphere was rather simple so I'm unsure about indoor but it seemed cozy when I went to the restroom. I highly recommend people to check it out for dinner the most!

“A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. We can visit the place multiple times and never get tired. #supportlocal“

The person who served me was kind & friendly. I had the picadillo with white rice, sweet plantains, a fried yuca fritter, & a side of beans. It all was very tasty, with the exception of the fritter. My only qualm was the pricing for what I ordered. It came to $29, including 2 bags of cheese doodles.Would I go back... Yes. Everything looked vibrant & fresh... I wanted to try EVERYTHING.“

“The food was extremely flavorful and delicious. If I am back in NJ I will come back for sure.
As a vegetarian I got served a meal that had meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully fault them. I'm sure if I had ordered on my own they would have said something.

Vegetarian options: Not much for vegetarians and my rice ended up having meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully blame them“

“This place is great! I prefer to come here than noches de Colombia. There prices are far better and you can order a baby churrasco with rice and beans and yucca for 12$ so yes visit. “We were in NY for a couple of days, because our baby broke down, while they were doing the repairs the mechanics recommended this gem, excellent food, good atmosphere, friendly, helpful and cordial employees, we asked for a typical dish, they promised to make it up to date Next, we returned 2 days later and if they complied, they had the "Locrio de cerdo" dish. What a delight.The coffee has a strange taste, but it's not bad. The breads and croissants are delicious.The bathroom is small, but it allows you to freshen up ?The man in the kitchen is quite nice, and the lady at the front desk speaks very well, the site makes you feel comfortable. They let me stay for a while and it was great, because looking at a broken down truck is no fun.“
