I drove twice in 2 days to grab cupcakes and cookies… I cannot say what’s my favourite out of the cupcake, the brownies, the cookies etc because everything was decadent and not too sweet. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! “Don’t be fooled by the smallness of the place. The breakfast sandwiches are some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). I provided a picture of what I wanted and they did not disappoint! Besides looking beautiful, the cake was moist and flavorful, even days later. Highly recommended!“

“I can’t say enough good things about One the Cake. After an order error left me scrambling last minute, the owner went above and beyond to accommodate me and completely saved the day.

The cake was absolutely beautiful and unbelievably delicious — truly the first time ever that an entire cake was finished at a birthday dinner. Not a single slice left. We even shared it with the restaurant staff, and they were so impressed they asked where the cake was from because they couldn’t believe how good it was.

I live almost an hour away, but it is 100% worth the drive. I’ll be ordering from here for all upcoming birthdays without hesitation. Incredible service, stunning work, and amazing flavor. Highly recommend!“

We take the kids there several times this summer, the choices for flavors are all delicious and tasty, we tried almost every flavor over the time that we have been going there, but the treat that stands out for me is the Dasher with Heath bar pieces; for my kids, they love Birthday Cake and either Cookie Dough or Cake Mix. Parking is a bummer, but we pull into McDonald's and run over to Carvel, the service is so quick that you are back in no time.“

“Steph’s Baking Boutique was recommended from a local page. I am from out of the area, but needed to order a cake for my sister-in-law’s baby shower. This was a perfect recommendation! Steph did a fantastic job, the cake was delicious and we ordered cupcakes in another flavor to accompany the cake. I had sent her some ideas and photos and she went above and beyond. For the toppers of the cupcakes I thought she would just do an icing decoration, but she added sugar cookies and they came out so cute and complimented our theme perfectly! Thank you again!“

“My four year old was adamant that he wanted a rocket ship ice cream cake for his birthday. I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I will always place cake orders with you guys!“

“Carousel cakes sells, cakes, pies, and cupcakes. Speciality cakes you must order in advance. Red velvet is my go to cake. Blue velvet is my cupcakes go to favorite. I ordered a couple of pies to taste this time. I'm praying they're worth it. I lost my red velvet recipe. So, this is my go to place. You won't regret it. Staff is very nice and service is so quick. They take cash and credit cards.“

“As always, this Carvel location is always my go to. Their staff is phenomenal, honestly the best out of all carvels I’ve gone to. I only order cakes from this location because their decorator is always on point when it comes to designing. My son loved his cake and so did everyone else. I’ve learned to just give a theme to the decorator because they always do an amazing job and I have come to trust and appreciate their creativity. And while the Icecream is delicious, this post is to mainly reflect the greatness of the staff and especially the decorators.“

I ordered this cake last minute for my Christmas day dinner. I was expecting them to tell me that it was to short notice for them to have it ready by that date since I literally ordered it 4 day's before Christmas. But to my surprise they took my order and had it done on time. It was ready by the time I got there. The cake to say the least was exactly how I wanted it to be and looked stunning and well crafted. And it was nice and moist it tasted like pure vanilla so good and rich.“
