“Appreciation post😃 Since 4 days my freshly turned teenage daughter has been saying one thing when I ask her what you want to do on New Year’s Eve …” I want to have kudos bubble tea as the last thing I drink in 2022”. It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“

“Gong cha is located on the Broad St of palisade park area. Very convenient location. Street parking.

Some tables inside but mostly are take outs. Their drinks are very consistent. Boba is well prepared, sweet with great texture. We had Thai milk tea + boba, dirty brown sugar + boba and oolong + boba. I suggest 30%-50% sugar.

“This is a hidden gem in the Lower East Side. They make pretty good boba but I want to talk about the interior. The nostalgia in here is amazing. Everything looks like it was personally selected. The the curation of this place is sick. I got the Grapefruit Delight. I was skeptical of trying it because I thought it would be tart but it was actually smooth. No tartness at all. With amount of lychee. Not to discredit how good the boba but this spot is fire to me and I would just chill in here if I could. Whoever did the decor needs a raise lol. Shout out to my guy Kenny great service and hospitality.“

“I love Heytea and this place was great. This time I tried the brown sugar milk boba without the tea since I can’t have caffeine. It was really good. I think the milk was thicker than I expected. I wish I got 25% sugar instead of half but it still tasted good. My friend got the mango coconut boom and she liked it.“

“This is some of the highest quality tea I have ever had . They use hi quality tea leaves and fresh fruit that are custom made to order. So each drink is tasty and refreshing. The boba is the perfect chew and the various Jellies all have a unique and delicious flavor from sweet to sour.
I love how they offer the NO SUGAR option if you want to be healthier but still enjoy fresh bubble tea.
I was happy to get a full menu explanation of the different teas , jellies, and options from the sweet and very knowledgeable Emily at the order kiosk.
She has a great smile and energy that made me feel right at home. So I will see you all there next Saturday for some of the greatest boba in NYC!“

My mom always order their taro bubble tea. Their classic milk tea and brown sugar milk tea are always good. I’m glad they offer oat milk.“

“The other reviews already say everything, of if i could go beyond 5 stars. I had a cold and asked if they had hot tea. The lady offered to make me a hot lemon honey tea which wasnt even on the menu and asked me if i wanted it any sweeter after my first sip. I also ordered a mochi donut and it was the most delightful thing ive ever tried. Im a cheapskate, but those 4.25 were worth every penny. This spot is a go to for me because they’re always consistent with their boba and tea. My go tos are the super fruit four seasons oolong tea when I’m feeling something refreshing and fruity. Then I get the dahongpao milk tea when I want something more caffeinated!“

“I’ve been coming here for close to a decade and the drinks have always been consistently great, with kind and fast service. I usually make a mad dash here after waiting in the Wah Fung line and the owner is always courteous to let me eat outside food in his store, which he doesn’t have to do. There’s lot of chain options on this block (KFT, Molly a few steps away, etc) but I always come back here because the tea is great (I love the Oolong Peach!) and not corporate-backed. Three sets of tables and chairs to hang with friends and take a reprieve from the heat“

A lot of boba tea places I've bought from put too much milk, and it completely overpowers the tea flavor, but not this place! I strongly recommend the Earl Grey Milk Tea; it tastes like Earl Grey tea mixed with melted choco-vanilla ice cream in the best way possible. “Low key one of my favorite (if not favorite outright) bubble tea places in the entire city. The service is great, the prices are reasonable (bubble tea is so expensive these days), and it just has a nice casual vibe. It's never too packed or rowdy. And most importantly, the bubble tea is always great.

My go-to here is the peach oolong with tea jelly and it never disappoints. The peach flavoring isn't overly artificial or cloyingly sweet like it can be at other places. It's really good!

Location is really nice as well, you can take your tea to go and chill in Washington Square Park nearby. Makes for a great afternoon or evening.“

“I’ve visited Modern Tea Shop before, and was super happy with my drink (rose milk tea). Today I decided to try it again and go for a different flavor! They have a lot of floral-inspired teas which is unique and a great reason to go. I got the matcha jasmine milk tea (oat milk) with boba (50% sugar), and thought it was 7/10. The oat milk wasn’t as creamy, so it caused the drink to be a bit watery unfortunately. Also, the jasmine flavor was not very pronounced, either due to the way it’s made or the sugar level I chose. Not sure I would get that drink again, but would recommend the rose milk!“

“Located in LIC, this location of I'Milky is right next to Court Square and a convenient stop for a small bite or quick drink. The inside of the shop is fairly small and probably can't fit more than ~5 people in there, so it's definitely a grab and go spot.

They have a deal here where you can get two onigiri and a drink starting from $15.95 (it gets more expensive if you get one of the premium onigiri or an expensive drink). When I went, I got their marinated pork and mala beef onigiri as well as their taro milk tea with purple rice. Their onigiri is a great deal and I loved them. It had flavorful meat, a great meat:rice ratio, and was a good size. Their drinks were good too. Would come back to try other drinks or get onigiri again~“

“Saw a review that said they weren't as busy on early Wednesdays, so I went on an early Wednesday and sure enough there was no line. I got a strawberry matcha which tasted really good, but do note that the strawberry is highly concentrated and may overpower the matcha if you prefer a stronger matcha flavor.
