“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“My sister and I got 2 bingsoos (black sesame and rice cake), a sweet potato latte, and a pistachio dacquoise. They were all very delicious and unique.
The sweet potato latte has a strong sweet potato taste, which satisfies the soul and the dacquoise was very soft and chewy. The bingsoos was also very unique. It kind of had a dry(?) flake to it, but I liked the texture of it. I do wish there was more red bean in it, but it still hit the spot.
Would love to come back and try more of their pastries.“

The staff is recently welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to ensure that I had everything exactly the way I wanted. I love coming here for coffee with my friends, where we can actually have a civilized conversation and it isn't a silly scene. The desserts are incredible, the baked goods are of excellent quality, and the breakfast items are wonderful and savory. I cater for my colleagues from here all the time. Raj picked my teenage daughter and me up at La Guardia - communicated via text the day before travel and right upon our flight’s arrival, through baggage claim and gave perfect instructions on where to meet. Raj gave us a great introduction to the city! Prem retrieved us from our hotel on the day of our departure and delivered us safely to the airport. “Appreciation post😃 Since 4 days my freshly turned teenage daughter has been saying one thing when I ask her what you want to do on New Year’s Eve …” I want to have kudos bubble tea as the last thing I drink in 2022”. It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“

“I came ALL the way from Westchester to get the mango supreme because I've lived it in the past. They have changed up the look and I am not a fan of the decrease in the mango pieces. While it still mainly tastes the same the decrease in the mango is VERY noticeable for me.“
