50 Best Pizza Restaurants near Palisades Park

“The request was find the best pizza near our hotel. After comparing some reviews we headed to Urban Tomato. It’s in a neighborhood setting across from a church. The restaurant decor is simple but comfortable with a great hosts. We never felt cramped. The boys enjoyed a chicken pizza half garlic and half bbq drizzle and my wife and I enjoyed a fungi white pizza that was out of this world. I continue to say this, if g-d had given Jersey the water, their pizza would be king.“

It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“

“I frequently order from The BBQ location in Palisades Park after my morning gym session. There are many choices for good Korean style fried chicken but i find BBQ’s to have the perfect blend of crispy/flaky on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. My personal favorite chicken place-ordering online 20 min before my gym session ends ensures a ready to go pick up with no wait time. Easy and convenient.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“Standing room type of joint, waits can be up to an hour (which is not worth it, imo), but the pizza is very good and they know what they're doing. Soft serve gelato is also quite good, if a little over priced. A lot of competition around, but L'induatrie is up there among the better pizzas in NYC.“

“SIMPLY THE MOST FLAVOR IN A SLICE IN NYC. Had the tri color, bacon ranch, chicken vodka, and pepperoni vodka and they were all truly amazing. Plus the garlic knots were also packed with flavor. All their sauces are made in house and the bread takes 48 hours to make and if you know anything about bread you'll appreciate how great it is. So many overrated pizza spots in the city and then you got this gem that isn't getting the attention it deserves, SMH. Truly next level pizza!“

“Ordered two pizzas. Pizza crusts were spot on and tasty...overall some good pizzas. The sauce though.
A previous review mentioned the sauce was sweet but that they probably don't add sugar to their tomato sauce. I would disagree with that assumption. Half way through the pizza ... The sweetness kinda took over for me. And that's just a personal preference maybe?

Service was cold and not the friendliest.
The set up itself was decent enough and clean... They had some latin music playing which was ok.

I'm not sure I'd come back if I was in New York next. If you enjoy sweet pizza sauce you'll love this place because the crust was really good :) Just the sweetness of the sauce was not to my taste.“

“I spent the last few days going a concert at the Bowery Ballroom and went to Nolita pizza every night and it is the best pizza I’ve ever had. The Sicilian double pepperoni with hot honey was insanely delicious. I’m waiting for them to add my new appetizer I suggested pepperoni basket . Because they are so delicious. Everyone working there especially the owner is super grateful and kind. “The pizza here is delicious and reasonably priced. My go-to is always the Spicy Pepperoni Square Slice. It’s perfectly oily, not too spicy, and the crust is perfectly crispy. A great NYC spot. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. A repeat spot.“

“Needing to round out our NYC experience before going home we got a few slices to enjoy at Central Park. We got two meat lovers, one feta w/spinach, pepperoni with jalapeno and two sodas. They toasted the pizzas in the oven and placed in a box. The slices were a pretty decent size which was a nice surprise. I enjoyed the feta with spinach 100%. The meat lovers was a lot of meat. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy which I like. Next time I will do one slice as they are pretty big. Highly recommend this spot. Customer service was friendly and quick.“

“Amazing experience, my family loves this pizzeria. We usually order delivery or get a slice if we are nearby, today we decided to dine in. Don was our server and he’s always excellent. I ordered a shrimp parm sandwich it was great. Me and my wife were wowed by the soy ginger calamari we definitely recommend it And my wife got a lasagna everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Very grateful to have a pizzeria like this nearby.“

“I’ll give 5 stars because I want them to stay in business !!!! But they need to change something.
*****IT USED TO BE 5 STARS*****, I used to go at night all the time when the dude that didn’t speak English worked there. But now for the last few months, he’s gone, and the pizza was NOT GOOD the last 3 times I went over the last couple months. Only at night I have eaten here. So i couldn’t tell you about the daytime.

In restaurant business, things need to be consistent, too bad no restaurants are really like this. Because people change up all the time. One little thing can change A LOT in food prep/cooking. I know. I’ve been in restaurant business for 10+ years… hope you guys can fix whatever was wrong with the pizza. I miss it lol“

“Few places are as accommodating as the staff here. The menu, although on available digitally, is extensive. Large selection of GF (gluten free) items. You can start with apps, choose from pizza or pasta as an entree. It is BYOB and that can make for a fun evening. They will accommodate to suit taste, we had someone that was sensitive to sodium, they adjusted sted the entree to suit. The place is small, the food tasty and seriously, the service is over the top.“

“Ate at the Emmy Squared in Birmingham, AL at the Summit and it was AMAZING! We got the margherita pizza and it was fantastic. A new favorite & cannot wait to go again!“
