“Great food and service ….“

“Don't underestimate this place. I've been to 5 star restaurants and in my opinion this eatery shares some of the same qualities that I admire in upscale restaurants: consistency and deliciousness.

The people behind the register are friendly but quiet. I go here during week when I want something that is fresh and high in protein. They provide you with generous portions so if you workout and need a solid amount of protein and carbs this is my favorite in the area. I enjoy eating here more than Chipotle, higher quality meat with bolder flavors and they serve uniform portions of chicken. They don't cut corners here.

The chicken platter is my favorite and I highly recommend it to people wanting to try something new. With the chicken platter I enjoy the fresh zesty flavors of onions, tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and tzatziki sauce on the side. I recommend ordering an extra sauce with your order. WIth the colder months I'd also recommend the their lentil soup. It was really tasty!

Side note: I don't recommend the cheese burger. It's not their specialty. Stick with the chicken platter.“

“Clean and well organized business. The girl at the front is friendly and good at her job. The best Philly Cheesesteak! I have also tried the Chicky Fries combo and that was excellent. “THIS PLACE IS AWESOME !!!! I came from Canada and wanted to try something other than Halal Guys. This place blows them out of the water. Ordered:

1) Chicken Platter - AWESOME !!!! Portion was good and flavor was sooooooo good

2) Philly Cheese Steak - OMG !!!! The hero/sub was sooo good that it is a "must have"

3) Mixed Gyro - ALHUMDULLIAH !!!! The Sandwich / Pita was so packed that it took time to eat and I enjoyed every bite.

4) The Big Ash Chicken - MASHALLAH !!! The taste was sooo good that I wish I had more.

Anyone that follows me, this place has to be on your list of MUST TRY.

To the Owners/Cook/Workers - I come from Canada every other month and now I have 1 more reason to come...May Allah grant you much more success.“

“We went to River Edge branch on Friday night - the music and atmosphere are great.Restaurant is beautiful. They have very good singer/DJ, people were dancing till very late. Food is good too - we ordered lamb shish kebab, fried potatoes, stuffed mushrooms, samsa, some salads - everything was delicious. Highly recommended.“

“I have been coming to this place since they first opened. It was sad to see the Chinese restaurant go but this place makes you think they have been there your whole life. I have had countless meals here and I have not had one miss. I am very happy that its priced fairly and it is a good amount of food. I wish had some pictures but I am always so quick to dig in. I love that they are always adding new things to the menu so I can literally go here multiple times per day. I would suggest if you live nearby to go through the menu and order one item at a time and try to pick a favorite because I have yet to be able to pick one because everything is so good.“

“I saw this place while driving . I wanted to try authentic Yemeni coffee. I tried Sana’ani coffee which is medium roast coffee with cardamom. I enjoyed this exotic taste. “Been eating here since 2010, food has stayed consistent through the years. The cooks always have a genuine attitude and respect for the food. I am often getting lamb over rice with red/white sauce, but the chicken and Falafel are always tasty as well. For an extra dollar they will toast a pita with white sauce for me with my plate, just epic!“

“This restaurant was full on fantastic!!! The food was delicious! The khichuri, chicken pulao, butter chicken, biryani, beef bhuna, Haleem, paratha, chicken lollipop, and chicken 65 were all so delicious! The best part of the restaurant was the malai chop— soft and delicious, simply amazing! Also a shoutout to their tea and fresh green mango juice! If you are in New Jersey looking for a halal place to eat with your family this is the place!! The food was just soooooooo good and the customer service was great!! “Nice bright location atmosphere is vibrant all halal food . You must try all the tacos the birria ones are to die for have not tried any of the burritos I'm sure they are great as all their dishes they serve.

“A long time secret gem of Paterson, NJ. Best Waffles anywhere. One of the places you can get delicious breakfast, lunch and or dinner at the same time. “Wow. This place is full of good vibes and energy. I recommend this place 100 percent. The burger was well seasoned and juicy. The pickles were crunchy and the onions were very tasty. I also enjoyed the cajun fries and their signature sauce. It was super yummy. My husband and I were treated super nicely and were welcomed with bright smiles and honestly there’s nothing better than that. These people really have a passion for making their customers feel special. I will be coming back soon even though I live 30 minutes away.“

“I'm glad my uber eats delivery guy from another place was lost, which made me angry enough to drive about 24 minutes to try Zakir's Bakery Gyro Express for the first time. Wow! The double cheeseburger was plump, juicy, and delicious, not like most of the late night halal places. The fries, to me, can definitely compete with the McDonald's fries as far as the right amount of salt, unlike all the other places, which make you feel that you need 2 gallons of water due to the crazy salt content. The gyro platter mix was amazing because it tasted different from all the other mix platters out there due to what I think was a touch of vinegar. Man, that was delicious! Please keep that kind of quality always!“

Only reason 1 star is deducted because I purchased three orders of the (six) skewers for a total of 18 skewers but was given less when I decided to count today. “Ate here few times in February 2024. Got the $5 Good Burger, $5 Codfather, and $5 3 chicken legs and thighs and biscuit. They were all pretty good. Codfather fish fillet is very big. And 3 chicken pcs were big too.Decent quality and portions for the price.“
