“This is my go to place when I have a large group to entertain. Our server was great and very professional but very personable as well. I ordered a coconut mojito and it was literally a glass of ice with a drop of coconut and a sugar stick that had seen better days. I told our server it was terrible and I got another one it was still awful and I couldn't drink it. It was very disappointing since I've had them before and they were good. Our food was great and we celebrated my friend's birthday with a special dessert . They need a new bartender those drinks were terrible! I shouldn't had to pay for those drinks but I was charged anyway. I'll have to think twice about going back“

“The food here is so delicious I wanted to shout and tell everyone from the top of a mountain. So here I am on Google. You must try the empanadas that comes with the best green sauce. I have very high standards for sweets and I loved everything I tried here. My favorite being the Alfajores. My husband and I had a lovely date night here. The entrees were a perfect combination of fine dining with a whole lot of soul. I want all the success for Libelula.“

“We had chiccharones and goat stew. My Dominican friend said it was the best chicchones she ever ate. Another friend said the goat stew was excellent. I really recommend this place for flavorful food. The owner is so nice and made sure everything was good for us.“

“We went on a Friday night. It was quiet. Seemed like mostly family dining. Definitely feels like a nice family owned, neighborhood restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the garlic shrimp appetizer and for our entrees we had the churrasco and fried pork chop. The chimichurri sauce that came with the steak was so good I could probably drink it! I thought the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. Will definitely be back!“

“The $12 daily lunch special is a fantastic deal! According to my waiter they are under new management as of last week. I was in town, visiting from Morris County to see the nearby Labor Museum. I loved the rice, chicken, and plantain most, they were delicious. Please be cautious however because there is a 15% tip automatically applied, and they do offer a lot of extras like drinks and stuff to see if you're interested. Nevertheless I really enjoyed the place. I think would make a good first date type restaurant, or out with the family, and I felt comforrable eating alone at the bar. Although it was empty when I came on a Saturday afternoon.

“A true authentic Dominican experience. This is the closest flavors to the food I grew up with, compared to what I've had at home and from visiting family in Dominican Republic. No gate-keeping! I want to make sure they get all the love and recognition they deserve. What incredible food, the options rotate daily, they don't have a menu. Not even sure if they have a phone, so just pop in and get your fix! The lady working the counter is incredibly sweet and you can tell cares for her patrons and the community.

“It was a slight language barrier cuz I don't really speak much Spanish but the food was amazing. I had the Dominican breakfast and everything was fresh and clean. The cashiers at the front were really sweet and nice and made great suggestions. My plate was $10 and had mongo, fried egg, fried cheese and salami. I ate twice from the same plate. Breakfast and they're back for lunch again. The food was absolutely a generous portions and tasty“

“Yummy yummy.Great for when you forget to take the meal your wife cook for you to work.They have pineapples watermelons and other fruits on the go perfect for when you're just done with the gym.They also do catering which is on point plenty to choose from and they'll make whatever you want.I definitely recommend this place it's great for people like me that don't have time to make a meal so instead of eating boring McDonald's and all that other garbage around that area stop by check them out and if you like home cook meals then this is the spot. You're in and out within 10 minutes tops. You tried the rest now try the best. My husband was craving mofongo and fried fish. We tried the mofongo de chicharrón, which was absolutely amazing, and the mofongo de camarones, which we felt was a bit less flavorful.

My husband mentioned that the shrimp wasn’t mashed into the mofongo, which was a bit different from what he’s used to.

Personally, I love my mofongo with mashed pork and the protein on top, and I thought the mofongo tasted fantastic. The fried fish was also a highlight—well-cleaned, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by how good everything was, especially since it had traveled 30 minutes to get to us. Can’t wait to try it fresh in the restaurant! Highly recommend!“

In conclusion it is nothing wow but it is not the worst either so you can pass on the customer service is good.“

“I come to Galapagos specifically to eat their Bolón de Verde Mixto y Pinto. Mixto means it has chicharrón and cheese, Pinto means they use a sweeter plantain. It's not traditional, but I love eating it here. With the Bolón, I like to order the encurtido salad with an egg on the side and black coffee. I usually pay about $15 all together.

Service was great, they were very fast. They also remodeled and it feels very homey and clean. You'll usually just find other Ecuadorian locals here.“
