“We are in the part of the restaurant called “the library,” which was a small room off to the left. Thankfully it wasn't busy or it could have been a bit tight. But the food was out of this world. Again! Although the creamed spinach seemed to have a funny taste, which was immediately replaced with another side when I said something. Service was good, but drinks were a little slow from the bar. The prix fixe of $55 was an amazing value. We both had the chicken breast and it was fantastic.“

Patricio and Dylan were the most considerate, kind, attentive and understanding waiters I have ever met in my entire life. After dining in the tri-state area my whole life, exploring cities like Chicago and LA through food, I’ve been conditioned and numb to lackluster waitstaff and typically take the approach of trying just to avoid them spitting in my food, but Patricio and Dylan completely floored me in their attention to detail, knowledge, and service that showed me exactly what good waiters could be. Living with GI issues and intolerances, I consistently feel like an inconvenience at restaurants and that the entire responsibility of making sure I don’t fall ill after dining is based on how I modify the menu and pick around my plate. EXCEPT here at Rails with Patricio and Dylan, I had the first care-free dining experience in my life, their thoughtfulness allowed me to be truly present with my family, enjoy the wonderful food being served, and just live in the moment, which is so important to me. Dylan was explicit in the detail of every dish and always helped me navigate what was coming around and being served. Now, back to the tears, when I subtly mentioned in passing to Patricio that I couldn’t eat dairy and couldn’t partake in the birthday cake, he brought me a delicious sorbet flight, unprompted, just so that I could feel a part of the festivities. He was friendly, professional, helpful, efficient, polite, patient, mannerable and had great expertise about service and was knowledgeable about great foods listed on the menu.. He treated me with such dignity that I felt special actually I felt regal. He is an asset to Outbank Steakhouse. Thank you Lucas, I will be referring relatives to your restaurant.
