“Called for pick up, within 5 minutes my food was being prepped. Paid less then $14 for a boneless spare ribs with pork fried rice and a shrimp roll with a ginger ale. Rice was fresh and flavorful and the spare ribs were juicy and really tastey.“

“Closer to 3.5 in my opinion. The food is above average. The service isn't fantastic but isn't bad by any means. They are open and deliver later then 90% of the places around here. They could use a remodel and the kitchen appeared clean when I looked from the register.“

“Uniquely seasoned food served promptly and pleasantly. Outdoor seating is available in a private booth design that's very 'public' since it's on the sidewalk. The interior design is remincent of authentic Chinese culture with wooden dragons carved in the wall. You can sit at the bar or sit in the main dining area. The culinary delights are streamed, gluten free or lightly fried. The chilli sauce/oil is a nice surprise it's fragrant with a hint of perfume of anise, cardamom and clove, amongst other herbs,all smothered in oils and Sichuan pepper. I highly recommend this spot.“

“All around my favorite place to go when I am in or even passing by Philadelphia. The food is fresh and authentic. My favorite thing to get is the dim sum and salt and pepper squid/shrimp. The staff and attentive, friendly and and fast. This a great place for a date, solo eating, birthday party for any age. The provide live music some nights.“

“I was looking for roast crispy duck. I didn't want to go to Chinatown because its gotten rundown, yucky traffic, expensive parking and horrible SEPTA. I decided to stay in my neighborhood so I could walk. I worried about it being expensive. Chestnut Hill is high end and the restaurant looked pricey. What a WONDERFUL SURPRISE! I was a solo table but still treated like a queen with lots of servers checking in, giving water and smiling. The roast duck in black bean sauce on the cast iron plate was SCRUMPTIOUS. It comes with a healthy side of white rice and delicate, flavorful bok choi. The skin was crispy yet NOT oily or greasy. The CHUNKS of tender duck meat were excellent. The sauce was thick, savory and yummy. FOODGASM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The portion was so healthy that I was able to take a container home for lunch the next day. Then I ordered the Mudslide ice cream pie for dessert. PERFECTION. Dense, creamy, sweet but not cloying with nut accents, fresh strawberries and cream as garnish. Cool treat on a humid Summer night. When the bill came, I was shocked that it was less than $40. I did not order a cocktail because I wanted to concentrate on the food. I gave them a big tip and said I am absolutely returning. I am also addicted to their spring rolls too. Two perfect crunchy flaky rolls filled with a balanced combination of shrimp, cheese, and cabbage that you can dip in duck sauce or mustard or just enjoy plain.“

“Excellent food, especially if you go early for dim sum, and the staff is polite and efficient. I usually get an order of string beans or whatever green veg I see first, then we pick from the rotating carts. I'ma say yes to everything that has shrimp. Lol. You can request custom orders during sim sum hours, too, FYI.
I've been there at night for traditional ordering, and that was really good, as well, but I like a little bit of everything, so I love dim sum.
Impressive space, too -- The chandeliers always catch my eye. I've seen several large events there, and there's a private dining room as well.“

“My father, grandmother and I visited this location today and had a good experience. We ordered a bowl of hot and sour soup which was shared between all three of us with some left over. Of course we had the lettuce wraps which were delicious as to be expected. I liked the way the meals were served... if you wanted to share your meal with others they provide extra plates. My firecracker shrimp was delicious. Not too spicy but not bland at all. My father had changes spicy chicken and my grandmother had the Teriyaki beef. Everything was delicious. Our server Sam was great and packed up all of our left overs. The best part of the meal was the limited time dessert called the Pink Slip cheesecake! It was to die for. I would recommend that dessert to everyone!
Only negative was that both my grandmother and my father thought the music was too loud but when we mentioned it to the server she tried to address the issue for us.“

We actually got 4 courses dinner, including those delicious desserts at the end 有很多东西吃呢！The boss of the restaurant was very nice and great in service- checking on us here and there; and then gave us something for complementary! “They’re offering an all you can eat dim sum special from 11 AM-4 PM for just $16.99 per person, plus $2 for tea. The food is a solid 3.5 out of 5, but the value is unbeatable, five stars for price alone. All you can eat dim sum is a rare find in the city and definitely worth checking out. The taro bun was my favorite.“

“This might be a hole in the wall restaurant in Chinatown, but it has the best BBQ in town. The BBQ pork (roast pork) is stellar, with great bean paste flavors beside the usual five spice, soy, honey. Roast duck, soy sauce chicken and the ginger and scallion chickens are all outstanding and authentic. Great prices too.“

“LET ME TELL YOU THIS!!!!! HUA CHENG KITCHEN IS THE BEST!!! ABSOLUTE BEST ASIAN FOOD EVER IN SOUTH JERSEY. THE STAFF ARE KIND AND FRIENDLY AND MY SECOND TIME ORDERING FROM THERE THEY REMEMBERED ME. FIRST TIME I WALKED IN AND SECOND TIME I CALLED ON THE PHONE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT YOU WILL NOT EAT ANY WHERE ELSE.“
