“As someone who loves dessert, I wanted to have something extra for our wedding. I also thought the idea of a food truck at a wedding was a lot of fun. I came across Gotta Lotta Gelata. My now-husband and I went to try some flavors with Petra and brought a few pints home, which disappeared pretty quickly. Having the Gotta Lotta Gelata truck come to our wedding was definitely a highlight. Everyone loved it and it helped make our wedding memorable. Petra is great to work with as well!“

Vegetarian options: The food is delicious. The U.N.I.T.Y meal was out of this world. It's the best cheese steak I've had hands down.The staff was very friendly and recommended an amazing meal. I will definitely be going back when I'm in the area.

“I ordered a takeout from here for couple of our office team lunches. The food is great overall. Most of my team liked the food. You can order the Asian food at different spice levels from here. My favorite is Tofu Fried Rice. Only complaint I have here is the time to prepare the food. Usually, I had to order at least 30 min before for the pickup and need to wait for another 10 to 15 min when I arrive at the restaurant for pickup. Also, they haven’t open the restaurant to wait for the pickup as they are still following Covid protocols. I will go for a 5 if the pickup time is improved. But overall the food taste & quality is good and I recommend this restaurant for other Asian food lovers.“

“This was our first visit to Bellefonte and we drove from 45 minutes away. In the car on the way there, I received an email from Open Table asking me to rate my dining experience, despite the fact that my reservation wasn't for another hour. When we arrived, they had no reservation for us, despite my having received an email confirmation when I made it (which I showed them). They either gave our table to someone else, or marked the reservation closed before we arrived (which prompted the review email), because the table we requested was no longer available. We were seated adjacent to the room where the band we went to see was performing. The door to the bar was directly behind us and there was one particular extremely loud person who was hard to ignore and unfortunately she was there —and extremely vocal with obnoxiously loud outbursts and laughing— throughout the band's performance so that was both distracting and disappointing. The food was very good, especially the black bean soup and the grilled cheese. The ceiling fan over our heads was on high and I became uncomfortably cold as the evening progressed, but when I finally asked the server to turn it down since we were the only ones in that room, she happily did so. Overall it was an enjoyable evening. The food, wine and cold brew coffee were good. The server was friendly and attentive. The music was great and the atmosphere was welcoming and eclectic (minus the drunk woman). We will definitely be back and hopefully have better luck with our reservation next time. We attended on a Wednesday night and the on-street parking was not a problem though it might be more of an issue on weekends.“

The atmosphere is chill but we went before the lunch rush. The food was good the street corn was slightly disappointing. Otherwise a great experience.“

“The Dog House has been a staple since 1952. The new owners remodeled. Seating is in the bar stools belly up to the counter. You will see the chefs methocially cooking every onion ring, fry, hot dog, steak sandwich, grilled cheese and more. Mmm the hot dogs on a bun are delicious. The Dog House knows how to take care of the customers. I'll go back and I'll take my friends!

Now the plexiglas can’t have customers feeling this is normal, and bc it’s not! This is the hood and better safe than sorry, so no judgment there. My MY ONLY issue, is they are way overpriced. $7.50 for 4 wings! But I know every restaurant is overpriced these days, so not exclusive to Welcomes. However, I’ve been a customer since the mid-90s, they were ALWAYS known for affordable good food… Still good food, but high priced in a sketchy neighborhood.“
