“Is it crazy to call this the most underrated place in Piscataway?? No one knows about this gem inside the YMCA but their food is super tasty and fresh. Their açai bowls and smoothies are refreshing and delicious and perfect for the summer. Also this might be crazy but their chicken tenders might be the best I've ever had!! They're perfectly crispy and juicy and tender all at the same time. Would definitely recommend especially if you're at the Y hanging out or at the gym for a treat after!“

I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).“

The shrimply the best tacos, which was originally on a tostada last summer, was just as amazing, but didn’t sit as heavy as a tostada. Love the move to a light tortilla. “This is a great little café/diner right next to the Westfield train station. We are fairly new to Westfield and went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We were wowed by the wonderful customer service of our waitress, Cindy. She was very attentive, provided great order suggestions and also brought over their delicious housemade hot sauce to go along with our eggs. All the food we ordered was wonderful, including the short stack of chocolate chip pancakes, the egg and cheese sandwich on a hard roll, and the Florentine omelette. The chef (maybe owner?), Ash even stopped by later on towards the end of our meal to check on how everything was. We meant to write this review right after that, but then never got around to it and when we went back today a few weeks later, we realized how much we needed to write this up! This time Kirsten and Cindy both helped us out, and Cindy remembered us by our orders from the last time even though we had only been here one time- very impressive and shows a great attention to detail and customer service. Ash came by also, and it was clear he remembered us as well. The food was fresh and tasty yet again (we got the French toast, egg and cheese sandwich, and Greek omelette this time) and the prices are great. This place is a gem and is definitely becoming one of our go-to spots!“

“I was really impressed. The food was full of flavor — everything was well prepared, and the staff was super friendly. The place itself is a bit small, so I wouldn’t go with a big group, but when the weather’s nice they do have outdoor seating.

The food was honestly delicious. Their V-strami was excellent, the gyro sandwich was amazing, and the vegan crabless cake sandwich was really creative with great taste. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re in central Jersey, but definitely worth the trip. I’m also looking forward to trying their all-day breakfast — I saw them making pancakes and they looked incredible.

Expect a little wait since everything is made to order, and meals might come out as they’re finished. Other than that, it’s a really good spot and I highly recommend it.“
