5 Best Beer Bars near Point Pleasant Beach

“This is a great local spot in downtown Point Beach. Went Saturday afternoon and sat at the bar to watch some bball games. The bartenders were excellent, Chicken tacos were phenomenal and huge portions. Not very big inside but great spot to have a beer and all who were working Saturday could not have been any nicer! 5 stars all around thanks Amendment 21.“

“This beautifully decorated space is a true gem. Cocktail menu is imaginative and the food wondrous! The menu is not overwhelming large but well curated featuring dishes which change seasonally. Our first visit was for a birthday and four of us were thrilled to be seated at the chef's table. Two of us dined last night and sat at the bar which offers a full menu. So between us we have tasted most appetizers and the halibut, pork, pasta, short rib entrees and cannot think of one thing we would change. It really should be noted that the staff there is among the most pleasant, kind and professional we have ever encountered. The bartender and servers are so informative and friendly and the chef is hands on and ensures the diners are having a very special experience! We are looking forward to our next visit!“

“The restaurant put a reserved sign on our table, but somebody else sat there. The host apologized and found us a different table in a short amount of time. Our server was friendly and checked back with us throughout the night. I left off 1 star because we were 6 people, and 2 meals came out first and it was a long time before the other meals came out. Overall a great experience. This is one of our favorite restaurants and we have brought many people here who also request we go back“

“My boyfriend and I hit this place up this past Sunday. We moved into Belmar in October so we've been waiting for the weather to break to check this place out properly and it did not disappoint! Live band, energizing atmosphere, beautiful melting pot of patrons, and amazing food! We devoured the mahi fish tacos and tuna fried rice. We can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu. “Started out great. We got seated as we arrived. Atmosphere was great as well. Started off with a cauliflower crust pizza which was wow. I had the Jersey Caprese which was good. My son's had a hamburger which was so so, but the lettuce on it was brown so we had to take it off. The ahi tuna salad was also ok. All in all I would definitely go back, we enjoyed the place. My younger one has Mac and cheese which was good as well.“
