“It was my first time there, and the lady who identified herself as the owner (Kelly) was very pleasant and helpful. She took her time explaining the drinks and their ingredients to me. I left there with 3 orders??‍♀️. The drinks were so good. Directions from Google were confusing. If you know the area, Highland Bubble Tea is on the opposite end of the bridge where Jersey Boys Pizza is located.
It can be tricky if you don't know the area. It's almost across from the new Performing Arts Center in Avenel! So, if you're looking at the PAC from Avenel St., in Avenel, Highland Bubble Tea is on your left side, across the street b4 going down the bridge. Lots of drinks and tasty snacks to enjoy. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the parking and the difficulty in finding it. Enjoy!!!“

The owner made my drink a month or so ago & gave me the wrong bubbles I asked for regular and she ended up giving me brown sugar and said can I come back the next day she will give me a free one lol long story short she wasn’t there the next day because I bring my daughter to this location and she was too lazy to fix my drink the day she messed it up. I get she was overwhelmed by working alone and having a lot of people ordering but she has to do better as an OWNER! I have a business myself and it’s a lot of things I do not do because you have to be professional.“

I was originally going to get bubble tea from the place in the chain of stores by Hmart but there was absolutely no parking available. As I left I saw Mi Tea and went in. Ordered 2 bubble teas, their first 2 all time favorites on the list. I gotta say, it was very good bubble tea. I opted for the brown sugar and taro and it was amazing. “Really liked the bubble tea and Co flavour options here. You have the option of selecting the percentage of sugar you want in your tea & whether or not you want ‘bubbles ‘ in it. The lady at the counter was pleasant and gave us all the va options. I liked that they have non-dairy milk as well and it tasted as good. The Thai tea is my favourite

“I ordered takeout today and it was fabulous! For some reason I thought that the menu was just dumplings and never looked further but it is so much more! The quality and completeness of my order was refreshing. I got the Bao Entree Deluxe (with no green peppers), the Pepper Steak for my green pepper loving friend, and the Bao Sampler platter (came with 2 dipping sauces). I also got 10% off the next order :). I also did not feel hungry 2 hours later which seems to always happen to me with chinese food and I don't get it often. I will definitely be back to order agian very soon!“

“For once, I splurged on some tiger sugar boba. I got #8 Brown Sugar Taro and was pleased with it. The taro is freshly made and has like a thick pudding texture. It’s not too sweet and it is difficult to drink through the straw. The boba was very sweet and made from brown sugar, so it really balanced the taro out. This was my first time getting this $7 drink and I was not disappointed. I specified for the creame mousse and oat milk to be added but I don’t think they did because it did not taste richer. It also was not reflected in the receipt.“

I loved the choices of protein and salad mixes... however- although I ordered 3 proteins, the salmon, shrimp n Ahi tuna; I wasn’t crazy about the Ahi tuna. It had no taste and the texture was spongy- my choice of the sesame dressing left the salad very wet and soggy by the time I got it home! I suggest eating there or ask for the dressing on the side!!! “Wheelchair accessibility: Mostly accessible storefront. The curb cut to get on the side walk is a little steep, so beware of that. The door is not automatic, but does easily open, so you may be able to make it work. Entrance is flush with the concrete, the inside of the store is flat, with standing tables that would fit a wheelchair under. The counter and payment device is low enough that a wheelchair user can be seen, and pay without struggle.“

“I used to order Pho from here all of the time and now it is different. I came on google to see if there was a change and saw the comment below that it’s new owners so it makes sense. I noticed a difference in the quantity of noodles and lack of chop sticks with my order and that’s what made me check on google.
It’s about $5 more per Pho. They do give a large portion of meat which is nice.
