The server recommended a lovely creme brûlée milk tea that was out of this world delicious and might be a new favorite she even recommended less sugar because it was already sweet and honestly she made the experience so great. We loved our drink and her recommendation. We’ll be back for sure!“

“It was my first time there, and the lady who identified herself as the owner (Kelly) was very pleasant and helpful. She took her time explaining the drinks and their ingredients to me. I left there with 3 orders??‍♀️. The drinks were so good. Directions from Google were confusing. If you know the area, Highland Bubble Tea is on the opposite end of the bridge where Jersey Boys Pizza is located.
It can be tricky if you don't know the area. It's almost across from the new Performing Arts Center in Avenel! So, if you're looking at the PAC from Avenel St., in Avenel, Highland Bubble Tea is on your left side, across the street b4 going down the bridge. Lots of drinks and tasty snacks to enjoy. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the parking and the difficulty in finding it. Enjoy!!!“

“This is one amazing bubble tea place in Rahway and it is right in front of the train station. They have unique milk teas like the Hokkaido and Okinawa milk tea which give me the chance to try new flavors. They have a cozy sit out area.
This is a female led business and the owner Ginelle is very welcoming and kind.

PROS:
1. Kim and her husband Mr. Fu run the place and are great. My son dropped one of the sauces all over the floor, and they cleaned it up for him with a smile.
2. SO many topping options to choose from - and you can put in as many as you want. So the poke bowl portions are very generous.
3. The ambiance is cozy and open. We've eaten here with family and friends on more than one occassion.

CONS:
1. Their sushi burrito isn't as big as, let's say, a Chipotle burrito. So don't be expecting that. We stick with the build your own poke bowls and always enjoy it.

“This is really good bubble tea. Better than any spot I’ve had in NJ and rivaling NYC. I like that you get actual tea in the drink (it tastes like it) rather than just a powder. The boba were also very fresh and chewy. I ordered with half sugar and it was still sweet - so if you like less sweet tea I recommend this. Will be back.“

“Strawberry Banana smoothie is delicious. Manager, Andrew was awesome, he had to clear up, to multiple people before me, why sugar helps enhance the drink. I didn't even have to ask. I just trusted his judgement and it was so good! 10/10 would recommend and will be going again!!“

“I am not a fan of Bobba Tea, and in fact try to stay away from them as much as possible but accompanied a freind recently to Gong Cha, and I am happy that I decided on Gong Cha for giving Bobba Tea one more chance. I loved Tea flavor and the coconut jelly bits, still not a fan of the Tapioca pearls but it was definitely way better than other Bobba Teas that I have tried in the past.

“I ordered takeout today and it was fabulous! For some reason I thought that the menu was just dumplings and never looked further but it is so much more! The quality and completeness of my order was refreshing. I got the Bao Entree Deluxe (with no green peppers), the Pepper Steak for my green pepper loving friend, and the Bao Sampler platter (came with 2 dipping sauces). I also got 10% off the next order :). I also did not feel hungry 2 hours later which seems to always happen to me with chinese food and I don't get it often. “This is a brand new, recently opened restaurant and wow did they deliver for first impressions. Food was absolutely incredible. The sushi was fresh and made quickly. I had the volcano roll and the Naruto rainbow row, it was beautiful and delicious. Very good quality cuts and tasted fresh Really impressed by their milk tea as well.
