“Nothing like a well prepared traditional Coffee ! Reminded me of my Grandmas style coffee prep! The entree Was very flavorful! First of all, it's gorgeous, so sunshine-y and green. We sat at the bar and the service was great. We ordered the cantaloupe slushies and they were so, so good! They weren't overly strong + they mix them themselves, just a few ingredients. The guac was a little small but delicious. The pork tacos were pretty expensive for 2, I thought, until I tasted them. WOW, so good. We were so busy catching up, we didn't realize they'd closed to get ready for dinner. They emphasized we hadn't overstayed our welcome, we could stay as long as we needed.
And the disco-themed restroom + playlist? Excellente“

“This is a fully vegan restaurant, and I found the food delicious. I could definitely recommend the enchiladas suizas—they were very tasty, but also extremely spicy, even after asking for the hot sauce on the side. I feel that if they hadn’t been so spicy, I would have absolutely loved them. The churros come with a delicious white sauce, and the coconut cake is a great option if you’re a fan of coconut.“

We started with all the appetizers, and it was nearly impossible to choose a favorite. The scallops al pastor, the corn, and the bass were each exceptional in their own way—beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor.

For mains, the standout was the duck carnitas—tender, rich, and perfectly executed. An off-menu tomahawk ribeye, served with house-made salsa and fresh corn tortillas, was another highlight—arguably better than what you’d find at a top steakhouse.

Although Cosme offers a thoughtful wine list, we found ourselves captivated by the cocktails. The spicy margarita was a favorite, and the mezcal flight was both fun and expertly curated.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have room for dessert—but that only gives us another reason to return. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.“

“When to celebrate a birthday with family. We had great time! We chose the Sunday's brunch menu, trully recomemded it for a large group. Drinks and food were really good. “U planned my birthday party at La Contenta LES and would highly recommend everyone do the same! We were a table of 8 - and the offer for a prix fixe for that side group is great. They worked with me to select a menu and it was very easy to communicate with them. The night itself was great, everyone was so nice. The food is always excellent (I’ve been many times already), and the portions were huge! Would definitely celebrate another occasion here.“

“Excellent restaurant serving a variety of Mexican and Mexican-inspired dishes, and some Sinaloan options like aguachile. It's hard to go wrong with any of the guacamoles, starters, or tacos. The aguachile and ceviches we've tried have been good. Was pleasantly surprised by their cocktails. Particularly like the Fridita and the Paloma. The couple that runs the restaurant is very kind. Nice ambiance too“

Tacos were perfect, frozen margarita were from another league and churros were amazing.
To add, service was fast and you always feel like your being served by a relative and not a stranger.

“The food and drinks were phenomenal! We ordered the ceviche which was fresh and full of flavor, spice level was great! The ensalada Carmen was incredible, the nopal and queso panela were a good combination. The garnachas had a kick to them but it made you want more. A huge hit were the empanadas de platano, the sweet and salty with the chocolate and chipotle based sauce was unreal!

For entrees we did the ribeye tacos, pescado con verdolagas and the ribeye huarache! All were so filling and delicious! As a Mexican, it’s hard finding good quality Mexican food with fresh ingredients but they really hit the nail on the head with each dish and the mix of flavors. The drinks packed a punch and we appreciated their use of mezcal in several of the cocktail options.

Finally to end we tried the tres leches which wasn’t too sweet but still moist. The fresh strawberries really elevated it. The pastel de elote was also a favorite, fresh out of the oven so it was warm and melted in your mouth. Mixed with the coffee ice cream, it was a dream.
