“If you're looking for the best Koobideh kebab in New Jersey and New York, Zaffron Bloom is the place to go. Every time I visit, I'm amazed by the deliciousness of the food, especially their Tahdig. The Olivieh salad and Spanish yogurt are also quite tasty. Since it's a family-run business, the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. I love this place and highly recommend their kebabs!??“

“I love their Chicken Pita wrap and wings.Make sure to ask for “double fried” which makes it extra crispy like the Korean Fried Chicken. My favorite sauce of choice always would be honey bbq. The Gyro platter is my second favorite but I will always go for the Chicken Pita wrap because the meat and sauce consistency is excellent.They also have a banana pudding that you cannot forget to buy as a side. I normally hate chunky bananas in my banana pudding but theirs is absolutely my favorite. (No chunky banana’s)The service is okay (that’s where I give it 4.5) there is one guy there that never smiles or laughs I’m not sure what his issue is but every time I went there in the lunch time he never seemed to be welcoming but I never let that affect me. I just come the hours he’s not there. But either way the other employees and owner are fantastic don’t let one mood ruin your whole day.The food is great. Overall I would pick this place when I need my gyro fix in the Wayne area.“

“We have been getting take-out from Falafel Hut for many many years. It’s a great option for a reasonably priced meal. We have had a variety of items from the menu and have been happy with them. We have also ordered for parties / group gathering and everyone was happy with the meal.

“Goes this place doesn't have a higher rating on Google is beyond me. The falefal is a 5 o ut of 5 The rice is the best I've ever had. It's both soft and creamy almost! I'm having the lamb shish kaboblan special. It is juicy and not chewy. Nothing is ever over salted here or overcooked the many times that I've been here. I even drive here for lunch 20 minutes away, even though there's Middle Eastern places a few minutes away from my job. The beef liver is great. Here the baba ganoush and hummus are tasty. Not oily. Very good lentil soup. It really tastes homemade!“

“I had such a wonderful experience at Nablus Sweets! There was a dessert on display that looked amazing, but it usually comes topped with pistachios, which I’m allergic to. I’ve always wanted to try it, and without me asking, the kind gentleman working there actually went out of his way to freshly bake me one without pistachios, even though that’s not how they usually serve it (and it tasted amazing). He didn’t have to, but his kindness and thoughtfulness truly made my day. The desserts are absolutely delicious, but the hospitality here is just as sweet. The staff are very kind and accommodating. “Actually, the food of this restaurant used to be much better. It's like it changed hands or the chef changed. They really put plenty of scoops on the plates. Free salad comes with the kebabs and open water is served to the table for free.“

“This is the best shawarma in the tris state area. I drive to this place from East Harlem in Manhattan almost twice a month. I like their chicken shawarma so much. Also their French fries are delicious.
The restaurant has a great seating area downstairs and it is family friendly.
Their home-made white ice cream with pistachio is so tasty. Also, the other desserts they serve are so mummy. Great place to eat with the family.

“This dessert shop is such a gem in this Palestine nabe! They serve the best kunefe I’ve had — crispy, cheesy, and absolutely satisfying every time. I enjoyed the baklava also with its perfectly sweetness and flakiness. Add to that is the affogato, which pairs perfectly with the desserts.

Even more special is watching the staff prepare the baklava and kunefe — it feels like watching an artist perform a zen ritual. Coming all the way from Vietnam on and off, but whenever I’m nearby, I always make sure to stop in. It’s become one of my must-visit spots for a sweet treat!“
