Overall we had a good dining experience and we would definitely dine at Antons again. The only issue with Antons is that it is difficult to find parking but this is an issue with many restaurants in Lambertville.“

“Very nice anniversary evening at the inn. We had not been there in many years. There have been a few different owners in the recent past but it still feels familiar. Different but familiar which I think is great. My friend is running the place now and seems to have put together a great team and some very nice dishes. Just last week we were texting about the inn and the menu and I mentioned the famous tomato bisque that the inn used to serve. Well not even 10 days later it’s back in the menu, which I think will be a welcome surprise to the local crowd. We are looking forward to returning.“

“The outdoor seating atmosphere was nice, noise level was tolerable and seating did not feel crowded. The table was weathered and the chairs were not comfortable for a long period of time. The service was slow and inattentive. It was a challenge to simply get a water refill. And it was something we had to seek, we were never checked in on or asked if there was anything we needed throughout our mealtime. The food was inconsistent. A few in our group enjoyed a burger but not the fries. Two people got a side salad with the same dressing. One the dressing was good, the second the dressing was thick, pasty and inedible. Yet there were supposed to be the same. The pasta dishes were excellent and did not disappoint. But the cheesesteak was unimpressive and lacked flavor. Overall our time was average and only the people who enjoyed their pasta want to return in the future.“

“What an amazing stay! The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable, ensuring a restful night. Dinner at the Dog & Deer Tavern was a highlight, the steak frites were excellent. I also enjoyed a beer on the heated back patio, with its serene waterfall creating the perfect atmosphere after a long day. Almost forgot to mention breakfast across the street at their sister location Stockton Market. I recommend The Local breakfast sandwich.

“We stopped here as we are visiting from England and we had such a lovely breakfast!

Delicious bagels and delicious coffee to go with it too. I had a bagel with sausage, egg and cheese and an iced latte with hazelnut syrup. The everything bagel was so so good!

Not pictured but we also ordered the waffles, salmon lax bagel and black bean burrito and they all looked very good too.

“What I find amazing about this place is that they consider themselves a restaurant…they should cal themselves an overpriced laxative depository. Before you order be sure you live nearby. The price is so high but the food runs right through you. Not to mention the staff are rude and unwelcoming.“
