I’ve been living in the U.S. for 16 years, and the thing I’ve missed and loved the most is lahmacun. After trying it at PIDDE, I’ve never had lahmacun anywhere else again. At other places I’ve tried over the years, I always experienced heartburn afterward — but never at PIDDE.

It’s a place you can visit with your family and feel completely at ease. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.🙏“

“I used multiple food delivery services to get my mediterranean food here, tried the lento soup, chicken shish, lamb shish, hummus, veggie sticks, etc. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the chicken shish and vegetables had charred parts and the chef didn’t bother to remove them. (but it is wise to remove heavily blackened parts before eating).

If you don’t want to eat too salty foods, you need to specify less salt or no salt in the takeout order. If you don’t want the overcooked lamb, you also need to specify medium rare.

Overall, a very high end restaurant that has good quality food and friendly staff. Especially with the outdoor setting in the fall evening.

“This restaurant serve tender meats made it in the grill, perfectly seasoned, they called kebah, I ordered the mixed grill for one person, they also have for 2 persons, i recommend the turkish coffee, the pocion is small in a small cup, but that's the way it should be, is bold and perfect, for my wife I ordered the chicken kebah, she enjoyed, she is saying she will come back to eat again, i also ordered a mixed grill to go fir my son and my daughter, the tables are elegant and clean.“

“It was great. Great go-to place for turkish food. Everything they have is delightful. And they have an awesome liqour called rakeh I may be spelling it wrong, but thats okay! Add ice to it, and it changes colors! Finally asked what filling they use on the cheese rolls!!! I LOVE THE CHEESE ROLLS WITH HONEY. LOVE LOVE LOVE. They would absolutely be my go-to place if parking was easier. The girl that worked with me.... I forgot her name...

“We had a great dinner tonight at Happy Vegans. We were greeted warmly and offered a taste of their special dish kofta, which is a delicious mix of spices, tomato and bulgur. I had the happy vegan burger which was huge with three patties made from kofka, lettuce tomatoes and a large serving of fries. We were given mayonnaise and ketchup to dip the fries in. Baklava for dessert. I highly recommend this charming restaurant. Easy street parking.“

My advice, if you want to walk around, dance and take pictures comfortably, definitely no more than 20 people in the patio area. That’s just my humble review, you do you! “We either ordered the wrong things or it was an off night for this restaurant because our experience was nothing like what other reviewers say. Restaurant was so noisy that we had to shout to our table companions all evening. The imam bayaldi was oversalted and underflavored and pine nuts doled out as if they were diamonds. The shrimp was hard, dry, overcooked, oversalted and flavorless sitting on a bed of gloppy watery tomatoes. Half the lamb kabobs were ok and half were nothing but gristle. Servers were very pleasant, and helpful with wine selection but the wait for our dishes seemed interminable. What was good -- very good --the rice with the lamb kabobs, the rice pudding and the coffee. But too much money for bad (sorry, but that's what it was) food. As I said, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes or maybe it was just an off night.“
