“i've been going here a lot for lunch this year and i've always had a great experience.

however, last week i ordered a poke bowl and noticed that they changed their containers from paper to plastic. its not that huge of a deal, but the plastic containers are smaller than the paper but the price is the same. additonally, the vegetables in my poke bowl were not that fresh which was unusual.

it's not too huge of a deal and i'll continue to support this place, but i'll always advocate for more eco friendly choices. if possible, please return to the paper bowls!“

We were really missing a good sushi spot near West Milford, and finding Raku Sushi was such a pleasant surprise. The sushi is fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared, and everything we’ve tried has been consistently great.

“This is a long time coming! I actually moved here years ago from Hudson County and I was on the hunt for good sushi. This place is it! I only have come in once, every other time I order on Uber eats because I’m lazy tbh. It ALWAYS slays, they do a fantastic job! Best sushi ever! I honestly make up reasons to order this sushi. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. “Avocado Eatery, Sushi And Gyro House (HALAL) is amazing! The food is fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. They have a great variety of options, from sushi to gyros, and everything I’ve tried has been really good. I also love that the food is Halal. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the overall experience is excellent. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Highly recommended!“

“I've been coming here on-off for about 3 years, I think? It's a lovely, quiet place. I'm rarely in the mood for sushi but from my occasional hunt, the bulgogi roll lured me here. And the simple atmosphere & excellent service made me come back again, and again. Although I don't have many pictures of my dining or pickups from here, I highly recommend the bulgogi or pink salmon special (seared roll)

“The bathroom was incredibly accessible for wheels chairs /walkers ect. The food was super good i recommend going during lunch time and getting the three roll special. The miso soup was incredible, the best ive had in a while. The staff is friendly and nice.“

I'm not sure if she just dislike me and my family but we've also have had friends that have gone there and have said the same thing about her. The sushi team behind the counter are lovely. Everyone else is nice. We are regulars of a few years because of the good but honestly I didn't even know the name of the place because we literally call it mean lady sushi vs other places. They have a few tempura rolls, a few naruto rolls (cucumber wrapped, no rice), and a whole 2 pages for regular and special rolls. I enjoyed everything my table tried. The food here is great . They have creative sushi menu.there is so many exotic rolls you can choose and they offer kids menu .
We ordered the sushi pizza, sushi love boat ,sweet heart roll gyoza and Thai calamari. Everything tested fresh.all very delicious. The service was attentive and friendly.By the way it’s BYOB.

We ordered scallion pancakes as a shared appetizer and I had a cup of wonton soup. My entree was chicken Mei fun and my dinner guest had pineapple chicken with brown rice. The portions were ample and all food was prepared and presented well. The scallion pancakes were crispy and not dripping in oil. The wonton soup was tasty and not salty. Overall we had no complaints.
